Description
This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is a triple-black example that has covered just 26k-kms (16k-miles) since purchased new at MCL Mototcars in Vancouver, British Columbia. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is equipped with a convertible soft top, 18″ BBS Sport Classic wheels, Heated and power-adjustable sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Hi-Fi sound system. The seller - Alex Hayden-Luck is a Co-founder of Formula Auctions and notes he is the second owner. The 911 is registered in his name with an Active and Normal registration status in the province of Alberta. Manufacturer’s literature, a stamped service booklet, and accessories are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The 18″ Sport Classic wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The front tires show 2021 date codes, and the rear tires are new, having been just installed less than 100-kms ago.
This example is finished in Black (A1) and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and a “basket handle” rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light.
Braking is handled by silver-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Photos showing paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery below and are all within the range of 4.52mm - 5.01mm.
The sport seats are upholstered in black leather complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include an aluminum shift knob and parking brake lever as well as cruise control, air conditioning and a CD stereo hooked to a Hi-Fi sound system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames aluminum-look VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 300-km/h speedometer, a quartz clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 26k kilometers (~16k miles).

The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all-four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. The car is equipped with the optional Motor Sound Package, which added a revised airbox and mufflers.
Recent service within the last 500-kms includes new rear tires, engine air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, convertible top locking motors, new rotors at all four corners, refurbishment of the BBS wheels, wiper blades, Porsche Classic engine oil change, Spark plugs, fuel level sensor, etc. The 911 passed a recent out-of-province inspection and the report is included in the gallery's documents section below.
