Description
Offered for auction is this 1994 Mercedes-Benz E500, one of only 951 Limited models produced worldwide. This particular E500 was imported from Japan to Alberta, Canada approximately 10 years ago by the current private owner and seller. It’s finished in elegant Sapphire Black exterior, complemented by patterned red leather upholstery. Under the hood, you'll find a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment-wise, this E500 is well-appointed with features including an electric sunroof, a power antenna, 17" Evo-II style wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside the cabin, the heated and power-adjustable front seats are found with an automatic climate control, cruise control and an aftermarket Sony AM/FM stereo. This Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited model combines timeless elegance, advanced engineering, and a limited production run, making it a truly exceptional vehicle for discerning collectors and enthusiasts alike.
For US bidders, this E500 is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.

The E500, a collaborative effort between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, was meticulously designed and manufactured with final assembly completed by Porsche in Stuttgart. Presented here is a striking Sapphire Black (009) example, showcasing its distinctive features such as flared wheel arches, headlight wipers, fog lamps, a power antenna, and an electric sunroof. It's important to note that this E500 has been repainted in its original color during a previous ownership.
While this vehicle exhibits a few imperfections, such as "Crazing" paint on the hood, cracked interior trim, and rock chips on the front end, these flaws are documented in the dedicated imperfections category within the gallery. Adorning the E500 are polished 17" Evo-II style wheels with like-new 245/45 Continental ExtremeContact tires. It's worth mentioning that the E500 features a wider wheelbase and a lowered suspension compared to other W124 models. However, this particular example sits even lower, as it has been fitted with E60 AMG suspension struts on all corners, enhancing its handling and aesthetics.

Inside the cabin, you'll find front bucket seats that showcase an eye-catching combination of red leather bolsters and patterned inserts. The same red leather theme extends to the door panels. The front seats are equipped with heating and power-adjustability. Notable cabin features include automatic climate control, cruise control, a power rear-window roller blind, Birdseye maple trim accents, and an aftermarket Sony stereo system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is an aftermarket piece, along with the shift-knob boasting partial wood trim that adds a touch of sophistication. The instrument cluster includes a 300 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,000 rpm redline, and an inset clock, providing essential information at a glance. Auxiliary gauges are also present to further enhance the driving experience. The odometer displays a reading of approx. 128k-kms (~79,5k-miles), with approx. 7,000 kilometers added by the seller.

The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. In 2021, the power steering/SLS tandem pump of this vehicle was replaced. The seller notes, that there is a minor oil leak from the oil pan. Additionally, the lower ball joint boot has a tear and may require attention or replacement to maintain proper functionality. These minor issues have been acknowledged and should be taken into consideration for maintenance purposes. The seller has added some maintenance records which are available for viewing in the gallery below.
