From factory this 911S was finished in Minerva Blue Metallic (Paint code: W9) and was refinished under a prior ownership in Tourmaline (Turmalin) Green Metallic (Which is an exceedingly rare OEM Porsche 964 colour). Exterior features include a brushed stainless Targa bar with gold “Targa” emblems, amber turn indicators, colour matched mirrors, and a recently recovered black vinyl targa top. A bar of taillights extend across the entire rear fascia with large Porsche script in black. A silver finished 911S emblem is placed on the boot lid just below air vents for the engine below. The seller notes that both Targa top seals and doors seals were just replaced along with new accordion bellows.

This 911S rides on chrome-finished 15” cookie-cutter wheels wrapped in Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires sized 205/55R15 at the front and back. Photos of tread remaining are included in the gallery. Stopping power is managed by fixed 2-piston ventilated disc brakes.

Inside, the Porsche 911S Targa has seating for four upholstered cork Leatherette. The front seats have been re-skinned in matching cork vinyl. A four-spoke Porsche steering wheel is wrapped in black leather and fronts VDO instrumentation, including a central 8K rpm tachometer, an oil temperature and pressure gauge to the left, and a 250 kph speedometer to the right, along with a VDO Quartz-Zeit analog clock.

A pioneer head unit has been fitted along with aftermarket speakers which is all said to be functioning properly. The electric antenna is also said to be raising and lowering as it should. Under the hood, the toolkit is complete and stowed along with the Bilstein jack and a front license plate frame.

Extensive servicing was performed on the engine in the last few years including a re-seal, ignition-system overhaul and a Porsche classic oil change completed less than 50-kms ago. Various service records of the aforementioned are included in the gallery below.

This Porsche 911S Targa is powered by its original 2.7-liter flat-six cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle. This powerhouse is factory rated at 165 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 176 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm, with a top speed and zero-to-60 of 137 mph and 8.4 seconds, respectively. It uses K-Jetronic continuous fuel injection.
