Description

This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet is a US-spec example finished in Polar Silver Metallic over Metropol blue leather and is powered by a 3.4-liter M96 flat-six paired with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. Features include a Metropol Blue convertible soft top, a deployable rear spoiler, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Hi-Fi audio system.

The car was sold new in California and remained there until it was imported to British Columbia in 2022. The current owner purchased it 1.5 years ago and has added approximately 20,000 kms, primarily driving it from San Diego to BC and on road trips around Canada without any issues. This 996.1 cabriolet is now offered at no reserve with literature, tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean British Columbia registration.

For US bidders:
This 911 is directly importable as it is a US-spec example having been sold new in the state of California. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.

The body is finished in Polar Silver Metallic (L92M) and features a Metropol Blue convertible soft top. Exterior details include integrated fog lights, a deployable rear spoiler, rear parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The car rides on 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels mounted with Hankook Ventus R-S4 tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The seller notes minor, paint chips on the passenger door and fenders, a minor dent on the front right fender, and peeling clear coat on the driver's door handle. The wheels have been recently professionally refinished.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Metropol blue leather, extending to the dashboard and door panels. Interior equipment includes driver-seat memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Hi-Fi sound system. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 129k miles (209k kms). The stereo system has been replaced with an aftermarket unit, and the interior shows wear and tear consistent with the mileage.

The current owner is aware of the vehicle's history since 2017, with additional information from the Carfax report. Regular servicing has been performed as required. Key maintenance includes:

- Thermostat replacement in 2004

- Battery replacements in 2007, 2014, 2019, and 2024

- Major service in 2010: oxygen sensor, engine oil pan gasket, and transmission fluid renewal with a new filter

- Serpentine belt replacement in 2016

- IMS bearing with rear main seal upgrade

- Installation of new tires, rear brakes, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets with spark plug tube O-rings

- Three oil changes, a transmission service, brake fluid replacement, and a new battery installation

- Complete soft top replacement

The 3.4-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transaxle. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in California and British Columbia since new. This well-maintained 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, with its detailed service history and tasteful modifications, is ready for a new owner to enjoy its classic performance and open-top driving experience.
