This 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi boasts a Crystal Gray Metallic exterior and is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-four engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. Notable features include a Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), limited-slip differentials, 17” BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, HID headlights, roof and trunk-mounted spoilers, and automatic climate control. This particular STI is a Canadian-spec example with a pass-through rear seat and heated seats. This STI has been lightly modified with some COBB parts and Racecomp Engineering Tarmac 2 Coil Overs. The seller has included a recent Carfax report which shows registration history in the provinces of Ontario and BC. One minor accident is noted in 2006 and noted as damage to the rear.

The 2006 model year brought a facelift to the GD-Impreza chassis (2002-2007) with the introduction of a front-end remodel including a new headlight/front bumper design along with an additional secondary spoiler mounted atop the rear window. This front-end design was nicknamed the “Hawkeye” which proceeds the “Blog-eye” and “Bug-eye” generations nicknamed before it. The WRX and STI models feature a widened front and rear body design to widen its track and more closely resemble the rally cars used by Subaru at the time.
The exterior features an aluminum hood with a functional hood-scoop feeding a top-mount intercooler, HID headlights, a large trunk mounted spoiler, and gold-finished Brembo brake calipers which are four-piston front and two-piston rear. Silver-finished 17″ BBS wheels are wrapped in what are said to be “Like-new” Firestone Firehawk Indy500 tires measuring 225/40R17 on all four corners.
The seller has included pictures of noted exterior imperfections including but not limited to a small chip in a door handle, small crack in the front bumper, some minor curb rash and rock chips on the front bumper/hood. The interior of the STI features a Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), automatic climate control, cruise control, aluminum pedal covers, power windows, mirrors, and locks and being a Canadian spec car, it has heated seats. WeatherTech driver and passenger floor liners are included in the sale along with the original blue cloth floormats.
Pictures showing close-ups of the seat bolsters are included in the gallery. The leather wrapped three-spoked STI steering wheel fronts a 260kph/160-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates approx. 85k-kms/53k-miles.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter flat-four was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A recent compression test included in the gallery shows normal results ranging between 140psi to 148PSI on all four cylinders. The seller notes a timing belt service was completed recently but an associated invoice is not available. This STI features some light engine modifications including a full COBB stainless steel exhaust (including downpipe) and COBB’s Stage 2 ECU software. The seller replaced the engine oil and included with the sale is an OEM oil filter, OEM coolant and a COBB V2 accessport.
