The RS4's design features a wider track with flared fenders, and the exterior stands out with bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rear parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets. The Premium Package adds convenience with a light and rain sensor, auto-dimming mirrors with memory functions, and a sunroof.
The 19" split-spoke wheels have been recently refinished in silver powder coat and equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Braking performance is delivered by two-piece drilled discs at all four corners and RS-branded eight-piston calipers over 14.4" rotors up front.
Inside, the heated and power-adjustable Recaro front seats are luxuriously trimmed in black Nappa leather, featuring contrasting silver piping and debossed RS4 logos, complemented by aluminum cabin accents. The RS4 offers a range of amenities, including cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The Premium Package adds Homelink, auto-dimming mirrors, position memory for the driver's seat, heated rear seats, power rear and manual side sunshades, Audi Navigation Plus, Bluetooth phone connectivity, satellite radio, a glovebox-mounted six-CD changer, and a nine-speaker Bose sound system. The multifunction steering wheel, wrapped in leather, showcases a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates a mileage of 94k-miles (151k-kilometers).
Powering the RS4 is the 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine, factory-rated at 420 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. Its impressive power is efficiently distributed to all four wheels via a rear-biased Quattro all-wheel-drive system with asymmetric dynamic torque distribution, ensuring exceptional handling and control. For a closer look at the vehicle's underside, the seller has included many images available in the gallery below.
The seller notes imperfections including rock chips on the windshield/wiper arms along with some scratches along the rear wheel arches. Both of which have been included in the gallery’s imperfections category.
This RS4 has benefited from comprehensive servicing taking place at mainly Southgate Audi in Alberta. Buyers looking for a B7 RS4 typically review a few key points when identifying potentially required service. Starting with the brakes, replacing the rotors can be costly as they are the same rotors and calipers found on a Lamborghini Gallardo of the same vintage. All rotors and pads on this RS4 were replaced with OEM parts approx. 6k-miles ago. At an approx. cost of $5,000 CAD.
Next: Carbon buildup / Intake manifold flaps / fuel injectors. Carbon buildup is a common issue with the 4.2L V8 engine. Every 40,000 miles or so the B7 RS4 can require the removal of its inlet manifold and all 8 ports manually cleaning. The intake manifold flaps are known for coming loose. The fuel injectors are known for leaking and causing rough running problems and decreased performance. Thankfully for the next owner of this RS4, all three of these issues were resolved at 81k-miles with a carbon clean, the replacement of the intake manifold with a new unit and all eight injectors were replaced with new units. The cost of this work totalled over $8,200 CAD.
Lastly, the Audi Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) suspension is known for leaking, thankfully all four struts and shock covers were replaced under warranty at the dealer.
Other notable servicing included replacing all the control arms in 2016 and a recent oil service completed July 2023.
