Description
This is a 1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R finished in its original colour, spark silver metallic (paint code: KL0). This R33 GT-R is offered for sale privately, and it is currently registered in British Columbia, Canada with a (Normal) status. The seller notes that he has owned the R33 GT-R for approximately 5 years and has added approximately 5000 kms to the odometer under his ownership. The odometer shows just under 192k-kms (119k-miles) and the reading is believed to be accurate.
Factory highlights of the R33 include an all-wheel-drive Attesa system, a rear-wheel-steering Super HICAS system and a five-speed manual transmission paired to a 2.6L RB26 engine. For US bidders, this R33 GT-R is is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. The exterior of the R33 GT-R features a model specific front bumper with an aerodynamic front spoiler, rear wing and side skirts. The exterior is mostly free of modification with the exception of a carbon fibre grill. The seller believes the paint to be original on all panels. The seller mentions that the sale will include a spare bodykit that consists of a front bumper, side skirts and rear spats.
Recent service includes an upgraded aluminum radiator, a new windshield, newer tires and a new battery. The seller notes imperfections including a crack in the front bumper lip, a small hole in the driver’s seat fabric, curb rash and two large dents in the passenger side rear quarter panel.
A typical rust formation spot on the R33-R34 GT-R’s are the strut towers, which the seller mentions are rust free on this GT-R. Photos of the undercarriage are included in the gallery below and the seller has also included a walk-around video that also shows the GT-R idling and driving.
The interior of the GT-R is trimmed in dark grey cloth on the seats with lighter grey cloth inserts, dark grey carpet and a light grey headliner. The four-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel fronts an analog gauge cluster with a 180kph speedometer and a 10,000 rpm tachometer to the right.
The interior has been updated with the addition of an aftermarket Jensen touchscreen fold-out head-unit.
Passenger amenities include automatic climate control, powered windows, powered folding mirrors and a digital clock in the centre console.
The shift knob and E-brake boot are aftermarket additions and the interior features a white faced Greddy boost gauge that displays pressure in Bar.
Keeping the GT-R sure-footed is a set of Tein coilovers and power from the engine is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
Powering the R33 GT-R is a 2.6L RB26DETT inline-six twin-turbo engine. The RB26 has gained notoriety due to its highly receptive tuning abilities and a robust construction utilizing a cast iron block. The head features an aluminum construction with a dual-cam layout and 24 four valves total. The powertrain of this GT-R is said to be mostly original with the exception of silicone radiator hoses, M’s intake pods, an aftermarket cat-back exhaust and the previously mentioned aluminum radiator.
