Description
Welcome to the online auction featuring a spectacular 2002 Big Dog Custom chopper, from the renowned Big Dog Motorcycles. Founded in 1994 and now the largest production-custom motorcycle manufacturer globally, Big Dog Motorcycles delivers exceptional craftsmanship and innovation, epitomized in this unique creation.
With over 30,000 motorcycles delivered worldwide, this 2002 Big Dog Custom chopper is a testament to their expertise and creative vision. The seller has owned the Chopper for approximately 3 years and has added very few miles. The bike will be sold with a clean Alberta registration in the sellers name.
For US bidders, this Big Dog is not directly importable, even though it is US-specification motorcycle, Big Dog Motorcycles, LLC closed their doors April 2011 and the new Big dog motorcycles company cannot issue a compliance letter for motorcycles form the previous company. This custom chopper boasts an impressive array of features, including a powerful 107cc S&S V-twin engine with a fully polished Magnacharger blower, seamlessly connected to a 6-speed Baker transmission.
The bike's ferocious presence on the road is emphasized by the commanding 280mm rear tire and the meticulously modified swing arm. For stopping power, the chopper is equipped with dual mini disc brakes up front and a rear brake disc and sprocket combo, ensuring a safe and controlled ride.
Distinctive features include the halberd-like blades positioned at the tips of the inverted forks, a compact sword discreetly mounted behind the headlight nacelle, a longer sword positioned above the belt primary and chain final drive, and a downward-facing battle-axe carefully nestled between the front downtubes of the frame.
In addition to its exceptional performance, this chopper stands out with its captivating aesthetics. The distinctive medieval theme is evident in the design, from the sharpened points on various elements like handlebar ends and foot pegs to the halberd blades at the ends of the inverted forks.
The purple, black, and chrome color scheme, along with custom controls, LED lighting, Dakota digital tachometer, 4-inch open primary, and unique fender with integrated LED taillight, further accentuate the bike's character and individuality.
The Digital tachometer shows approx. 600-miles from new meaning this Bike is essentially brand-new.
Riders seeking both power and style will appreciate the attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into this 2002 Big Dog Custom chopper. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of motorcycle history that embodies the innovative spirit and artistry of Big Dog Motorcycles.
