Description

This is a 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo of the 996 generation. It is finished in Slate grey metallic paint over black leather upholstery. This turbo was optioned from factory with the X50 power kit and when sold new, and had an MSRP of $207,855 CAD (as per the included build sheet). The 911 is currently located and registered in the seller’s name in the province of Alberta, Canada with an active and (Normal) registration status. The included Carfax report shows no history of any accidents or insurance claims. The private seller is believed to be the third known owner after acquiring it approximately one-year ago and mentions he has added approximately 1000-kms during this time frame.

For US buyers this 911 is EPA and DOT compliant and can be imported to the USA. Prior to importation, a compliance letter from Porsche USA customer service must be obtained. The seller will obtain this letter for a succesful US buyer. For more information on transport & import in Canada/USA, please visit our Transport/Import page here.

The exterior of the Turbo features vented rear quarter-panels that feed air into the mirrored dual-intercoolers. A Genuine, OEM Porsche 996 GT2 front bumper/valence and engine lid/wing have been added to this Turbo. The seller has included a picture of the part number stamped inside of the front bumper with the serial number “996.505.311.30” which confirms GT2 authenticity. The engine lid shows a stickered serial number with the inscription “TURNWALD F 57150 CREUTZWALD 09247” which is believed to confirm GT2 authenticity as well.

This Turbo sits slightly lower than the factory ride height as the seller has added H&R “Red” sport springs to the factory suspension struts. Genuine and OEM 996 GT3 front brake calipers and rotors coupled with OEM GT2 brake ducts have been installed to improve braking performance over the standard. New front rotors/pads and rear pads have been recently installed and a corresponding invoice is included in the gallery.

The 18” Turbo-twist wheels are wrapped in Pirelli PZERO tires measuring 225/40ZR18 in the front and 295/30ZR18 in the rear. These wheels feature a hollow spoke design and pictures showing the condition of the inside barrels have been included in the gallery below. Exhaust is expelled out of FVD Brombacher stainless steel headers and exhaust system. Catalytic converters have been retained in this system, along with the original twin-style exhaust tips which were factory optioned with the X54 code, correctly corresponding with the vin analytics build sheet.

The interior of the Turbo is trimmed in black leather upholstery throughout and features Sport seats (option code: P78) and aluminum trim (option code: Y06). Heated front seats and a Porsche communication management infotainment system were optioned as well. The three spoke leather wrapped steering wheel fronts a white-dial gauge cluster with a 320km/h speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. For a successful US-based buyer, the cluster will not have to be modified upon import as the cluster is capable of digitally MPH digitally.

Powering the Turbo is a Hans Mezger designed twin-turbocharged Horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine. This turbo has been optioned with the X50 power kit from factory which increases power output by 27hp/44 lb-ft to 444hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. The X50 power kit also features revised engine management software and larger intercoolers. Recent service work that was completed in preparation for sale includes brake replacement, engine oil service, transmission fluid change, a coolant flush, air intake and cabin filters, a new clutch throw-out bearing, a four-wheel alignment, eight-hours of dry-ice cleaning and a recently completed inspection. All aforementioned are included in the gallery below.
