Description
This is a 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 finished in Race Red with lightning blue stripes and black accents. As per an included production number sheet, this is 1 of 5 examples finished in this color combination for the 2017 model year. This GT350 had a replacement engine installed in October 2020 at 35,336kms under warranty, meaning this newer engine has approximately 1500kms on it. At the time of the engine replacement the seller also purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty that covers the vehicle until March 7th 2024. This warranty is said to be transferable as well. This GT350 is offered for sale privately by the second owner and it is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with a (Normal) status. The seller mentions he has owned this Shelby since 2019 and has added approximately 3000 kms under his ownership. This GT350 was sold new at the Advantage Ford dealership in Calgary, AB and has remained registered in Alberta since new as per the seller included Carfax. The Carfax Report shows no accidents or insurance claims.
Highlights of the factory equipment on this GT350 include a Brembo Braking system with two-piece rotors, a Torsen limited-slip differential, Xenon headlights and LED tail lights. The exterior of the GT350 features Lightning blue Racing stripes w/black accents, functional fender vents, a gloss black rear decklid spoiler, a Shelby inscribed polyurethane front splitter and a true-quad tipped muffler system. Aerodynamic side skirts, front splitters and a rear diffuser help keep the Shelby planted at high speeds and these pieces are unique to the GT350 compared to the base mustang. The seller notes that there is 3M paint protection film on the front bumper, Hood, fenders and mirrors. This GT350 is equipped with satin black wheels that measure 19” at all four corners, which are wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires measuring 305/35ZR19 on all four. The seller mentions that these tires were installed in 2019 and a service record for these are included in the gallery. The seller notes two minor rock chips on the rear quarter panel and pictures of each are included in the imperfections category of the gallery.
The interior is trimmed in a combination of Alcantara and Ebony cloth on the seats, door cards, and steering wheel. Black leather also trims the door cards and the shift boot. The Recaro sport seats are manually adjustable and pictures of all the bolsters are included in the gallery. The interior features a chassis specific plaque that notes this Shelby being chassis number H3254. The Alcantara trimmed steering wheel fronts a digital central cluster with a 9000rpm tachometer at the left and the speedometer on the right that is denoted in both Kph and mph. Power is sent from the 5.2L Voodoo V8 engine through a 6-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. This GT350 comes complete with the original window sticker showing an MSRP of $76,528. Also included is the chassis specific supplemental package that features a miniature model of the engines flat plane crank that has an included stand with the Chassis number. The seller also purchased a vin certificate from Ford that certifies the Shelby and mentions an official production date of 03/10/2017.
Powering the GT350 is a 5.2L “Voodoo” V8 engine. This engine package features a flat-plane crank and dual overhead cams. These engines are hand built by specially trained technicians and a plaque mounted on the intake manifold shows the signature of the employee who built it. As previously mentioned, this engine was replaced under warranty in October 2020 and the new engine is a 2020 Gen 2 Voodoo, serial number FF0AA 20177220020. The seller mentions the engine is in stock-form with no modifications. A recent service is noted in June 2021 including an oil change, tire rotation and the completion of a daytime running lamp recall.
