This 2-door convertible is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is currently registered in Alberta with a clean and (Normal) status, with approx. 51K-km on the odometer. This SL500 was sold new in Ontario, Canada until it was sold to its next owner in Alberta and has remained registered in the province since. Built on the R129 platform, this fourth generation SL has a front fascia with 6 horizontal aluminium grille slats with a prominent Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star at the centre. The seller notes the car’s soft top and removable hardtop are included in the sale.
The included recent Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in the provinces in Ontario and Alberta.
The 17″ Albali wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport SX tires measuring 245/45 R17 on all four.
Inside, the SL500 features multi-adjustable power seating for two upholstered in black leather. For safety and convenience, this car is equipped with airbags, rain sensing wipers, power locks and windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and a rear window defogger.
The leather-wrapped tilting steering wheel fronts an analog instrumentation panel with a 260-km speedometer at its centre, a 7K rpm tachometer to the right, and fuel gauges to the left.
