Description
This is a 2004 BMW E46 M3 coupe finished in Alpine white paint (300). This M3 is offered by the seller privately and it is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with a (Normal) status. The Carfax included in the gallery shows no accidents, claims or open recalls. Having travelled just 80k kms (49k miles) from new, this M3 was sold new at Calgary BMW in 2004 and has remained registered in Alberta since.
Highlights of the factory equipment include 18-inch Style-67 alloy wheels, Xenon headlights, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, a Harman/Kardon premium sound system, a ski bag, the cold weather package and a power sunroof. Pictures of the undercarriage are viewable in the gallery and a walk-around, driving and cold-start video of the M3 are viewable below.
The body features aftermarket carbon-fiber fender vents with "M3" emblems, an OEM trunk lip spoiler, fog lights, and a true quad polish tipped muffler.
The 18” wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot super sport tires, sized 225/45ZR18 in the front and 255/40ZR18 in the rear. These tires are said to have been replaced in 2019 and have approximately covered 2000 km’s since. The seller mentions an oil change was completed April 2021 and the “M3” embroidered floor mats were purchased new in June 2021.
This M3 is offered with service records, two sets of floor mats, a complete leather-backed manual, the original illuminated shift-knob, a cargo net and one key.
The cabin is finished in black Nappa leather with Titan Shadow trim on the dashboard, center console and door cards. The seller mentions that the original shift knob has been replaced with an OEM BMW ZCP weighted & illuminated shift knob and leather boot. The original shift knob and boot are included in the sale.
The seller has included a letter of compliance from BMW USA customer service, stating the vehicle is eligible for U.S. import. A copy of this letter is included in the gallery.
The seller mentions there is a small dent in the driver side fender and small peeling of the finish on the passenger door handle. Both aforementioned are pictured in the gallery’s “Imperfections” grouping.
Mechanical
Powering the M3 is a 3.2-litre inline 6-cylinder naturally aspirated motor. Mated to the S54B32 motor is a 6-speed manual gearbox. The motor features variable valve-timing technology (named VANOS), it also has independent throttle bodies for each cylinder. The engine is said to have no modifications and is in stock-form. The seller has included service records in the gallery depicting regular oil changes and other various maintenance items.
