Description
This is a 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid, and it is offered by the seller privately out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The seller is the original owner and has added only approximately 912 kms since new. The Plaid is the highest-performance variant of the model S line-up; the Flagship model of the Tesla brand. Tesla claims that the Plaid can achieve a 0-60mph time of 1.98s. The Plaid is currently registered in the province of Ontario in the seller’s name. The included Carfax report shows no accidents, liens, or insurance claims. The original window sticker is included and shows factory option highlights including full-self driving, Arachnid wheels, solid black paint, black interior with carbon fiber, yoke shaped steering wheel and autopilot. The plaid is offered with complete factory manuals, a clean Carfax report, the original window sticker, a Tesla charging cable, and a Model S sedan-shaped key.
The exterior is finished in Solid black paint and is currently shown on 20" ART wheels which are not included in the sale but will be offered to a successful buyer separately. The original 21” Arachnid wheels are included in the sale and are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot sport 4S tires measuring 295/30/21 on all four. Other features include a Plaid specific body kit, a complete glass roof, 8 exterior cameras, LED exterior lighting, 1 radar and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
The LED head and tail lights accentuate the Plaids futuristic look, and the vented front bumper provides cooling to the vented front brake rotors. The Plaid features Launch control and Cheetah stance mode which, when activated, lowers the front end of the Plaid approximately 2 inches, which helps to direct power downward, boosting road traction and and propelling the plaid to 100kph in just 1.98s (claimed).
The interior features a yoke-shaped steering wheel, which is the first of its kind from the manufacturer. Trim black faux leather on the dash, centre console, arm rest and seats. Carbon fiber trim is optioned on this Plaid and is inlaid to the dash, door cards and centre console. The front sport seats are heated, ventilated and power adjustable. The rear seats are also bolstered and heated. The head liner is trimmed in charcoal grey alcantara. The interior features two large LCD displays measuring 17” in the front and 8” in the rear. Four inductive charging pads for mobile devices are found throughout the interior and a 22-speaker sound system completes the interior.
The yoke steering wheel fronts a 12.3” digital display cluster which shows approximately 535 kms on the odometer. In launch/drag strip mode the cluster changes to an animated orange/red “Plaid” futuristic looking interface.
Powering the Plaid is a tri-electric induction motor system that sends power through a single-speed automatic transmission. Powering the motors is a 100-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. When utilizing the 21" Arachnid wheels, the approximate range of the Plaid is 560 kms. A rear diffuser and Carbon fibre trunk mounted lip increase the Plaid’s rear downforce. The seller mentions the Plaid comes with two keys and two Tesla cards.
