This is a 1986 Ford F250 XLT Lariat finished in Colonial White over a Canyon Red interior. This pristine 4x2 pickup is powered by a 460 ci V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Ford is currently registered in British Columbia with a clean and (Normal) status and only 17K-miles on the odometer. Ford’s seventh generation F250 ran from 1980 to 1986, having become the best-selling truck in the United States.  The seller shares that this incredible find was stored in a windowless garage in Sandpoint, Idaho for the last 25 years. Originally purchased in Spokane, WA by a retired veteran, it was then purchased by his neighbour in the departed vet’s estate sale, and this neighbour never had it insured for use. Ample documentation comes included in the sale, including the original bill of sale, window sticker, and build sheet.

For US bidders, this F250 is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.

This Colonial White styleside F250 XLT Lariat square body has an egg crate grille with an oval Ford emblem at its centre. Headlights and turn signal lights are stacked rectangular units. The front fascia is entirely housed in chrome, accompanied by a chrome bumper with vertical black rubber bumper guards. The wheel arches are complemented by chrome bone lines running the length of the truck. This F250 is fully loaded, with Explorer Value, Light Group, and Camper Package options appearing on the build sheet, as pictured in the gallery. Tinted glass, five amber roof clearance lights, low mount swing away side mirrors, and long chrome handles on the B pillars complete its upper body. A chrome rear step bumper is found at the back along with Ford script set within a red tail light bar surrounded by brushed aluminium. This pickup rides on 16” wheels with the original Firestone Steeltex Radial RTH tires, LT235/85R16 all around and showing minimal tread wear. Twin on board fuel tanks combine to a 144 litre (38 US gal) capacity. This F250 has a towing capacity of 3,322 lbs, and a gross vehicle weight rating of 8,600 lbs. The seller shares that it has been consistently kept with the plastic slide-in liner and canopy on since it was purchased.

The interior of this F250 in XLT Lariat trim is Canyon Red, with a cloth bench seat, red felt and leather door panels, and imitation wood accents on the steering wheel and instrument panel. Optional upgrades include the leather wrapped, tilting steering wheel with speed control, tachometer, AM/FM stereo radio with a cassette player and a digital clock, air conditioning, power doors and windows, insulated headliner, and sliding rear window. Raised white and black numbers set against a textured black background display the 85 mph speedometer and 6K redline tachometer.

Other notable features include the padded dash, locking glove compartment, matching red sun visors, and lovely bright chrome found lining the doors and making up the handles and switches for the power locks and windows.

This F250 is powered by a 460 ci (7.5-liter) V8 paired to a three-speed automatic transmission. This 460 is rated at 245 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque when new. The independent front suspension is a Twin-I-Beam design with a 4.10:1 limited slip differential. The seller recently performed a carburetor rebuild, an oil change, recharged the A/C with an R12 kit, and replaced the auxiliary fuel tank. Be sure to take a look at the service coupons from McCollum Ford Ranch in Spokane, WA in the gallery, so you can dream about a time when a tune-up on a V8 cost $49.95!
