Description
This is a 1987 BMW M6 that is finished in black paint over a gray leather interior. It is powered by a 3.5-liter S38 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 17″ basketweave wheels, Bilstein dampers, a rear spoiler, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, and air conditioning. The seller - Alex Hayden-Luck is a Co-founder of Formula Auctions and is offering this M6 here at NO-RESERVE. The M6 is currently registered in his name with an Active and Normal registration status.
A recent Carfax report has been included in the listing and shows no records of any accidents or insurance claims throughout the vehicle’s history. This M6 is a US-spec example that sold new in California, USA. It was later imported to Canada in 2019 by a previous owner and has remained registered in the province of Alberta since.

The M6 is finished in black paint and features a front spoiler with integrated fog lights as well as a sunroof, polished aluminum trim, a power antenna, a rubberized decklid spoiler, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. The 17” basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 235/45 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. A spare is located in the trunk.
The M6 is equipped with a Bilstein strut semi-trailing arm suspension, a larger front anti-roll bar than the standard E24, and a rear anti-roll bar. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with ABS and ventilated front rotors.
The seller notes that the front bumper and other paintwork was completed under a previous ownership for cosmetic purposes and an associated invoice is included in the gallery below. Within the interior, you'll find power-adjustable front sport seats adorned in gray leather upholstery, complemented by a center console, door panels, and carpets coordinated in a matching hue. The factory-rated 3.5-liter S38B35 inline-six engine delivers 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
