This is a 2002 BMW M3 finished in Alpine White III (paint code #300) over an Anthracite M-textured interior. This E46 M3 is powered by a 3.2-litre DOHC inline-six cylinder 24-valve engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Highlights of the factory equipment include 18” silver aluminium wheels, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, cruise control, ABS and traction control, and powered and heated mirrors. This M3 is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with approx. 64K-kms and a clean and (Normal) status. The seller is the second owner and has owned the M3 since approximately 12k-kms.
For US bidders, this M3 is importable after a compliance letter from BMW USA has been obtained. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
This M3 has been fitted with a Vorsteiner carbon fibre roof, in keeping with a CSL (coupe sport lightweight) style for this car. M3 specific fender vents and chrome kidney grilles are framed by Xenon headlights and foglights. The front bumper is a new Euro-style OEM replacement with an integrated air dam and the trunk lid has a colour-matched lip spoiler. The exhaust is expelled via a new OEM CSL muffler.
The car is further equipped with powered and heated mirrors, a window grid antenna, and interval wipers. 18” 10-spoke BMW “M” badged aluminium wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, sized 225/45ZR18 in the front and 255/40ZR18 in the rear. New OEM CSL brake callipers and CSL rotors have recently been installed. The BMW M3 measures 177 inches long, 70 inches wide, and 54 inches high, with a 107 inch wheelbase.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with striking Anthracite M-textured red, blue, purple, and black Alcantara suede inserts for the seats and door cards. The front seats are 8-way powered with slide-out thigh support. The dash and shifter have leather trim, with M3 badging found on the shift knob and resin coated door sills. A “M” badged leather-wrapped wheel commands the M3 with multi-functional controls including cruise control, voice command, volume controls, and more. This fronts an analog instrumentation panel with a 300 km/hr speedometer at the centre, a fuel level indicator to the left, a 9K rpm tachometer to the right, and a digital display below.
Steering is a speed-sensitive rack and pinion design. Comfort, convenience and entertainment features include a trip computer, auto-dimming rearview mirror, air conditioning, powered one-touch windows, illuminated entry, and a Harmon Kardon 10-speaker sound system.
The M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre DOHC inline-six engine with 4 valves per cylinder, designated the S54B32 by BMW. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The S54B32 engine features dual Vanos camshafts and individual throttle bodies for each cylinder inside an intake plenum with an M emblem. The S54B32 is rated at 333 horsepower at 7,900 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 rpm when new. The seller mentions that new shocks and springs have been installed at all corners and Rogue Engineering control arm bushings have been added.
