Description

This is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz E240 wagon finished in brilliant silver metallic (paint code: 744). This wagon is a Japanese-market example that was imported to Canada by the previous owner and is now offered for sale privately by the seller. The seller mentions he has owned this wagon for approximately 5 months and purchased it from the first Canadian owner. The seller mentions he has added approximately 10,000 kms to the wagon under his ownership. The digital cluster currently shows just over 96k kms. A picture of an auction record of the vehicle while in Japan is included in the gallery. The record shows an auction grade 4B and the seller believes the wagon to be accident free.

Factory highlights of the wagon include black roof rails, a glass powered sunroof, chrome body trim, burl walnut trim on the interior and a 2.4L V6 engine paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The seller mentions the wagon comes complete with factory manuals (in Japanese) and one key.

The exterior of the wagon features an E63-style front bumper, tinted taillights and chrome trim along the body. The exhaust is expelled out of a dual-chrome tip muffler. The original wheels have been replaced in favour of 19” AMG style wheels which are wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires. These tires are said to have been replaced recently. Braking is managed from gloss-black finished calipers and the seller mentions the brake rotors and pads were recently replaced on all four corners.

The seller mentions a recent oil change has been completed as well.

The seller notes imperfections including rock chips on the front-end, a missing storage compartment in the rear door card and a chip in the passenger fender arch.

The seller mentions some spare parts will accompany the sale including brake lines, a hood latch and an extra set of ball joints.

The interior is trimmed in black leather on the seats and door cards while Burl walnut trim is inlaid to the dash, centre console and door cards. Aluminum Mercedes-Benz engraved door sill plates are mounted in all four door jams. Driver amenities include cruise control, heated and power adjustable seats, AMG branded aluminum pedal covers and automatic climate control. An infotainment system in the centre console features navigation and AM/FM radio functionality. The rear cargo compartment features a retractable cargo net to separate the cabin.

The multifunctional four-spoke steering wheel fronts a triple gauge cluster showing a 260km/h speedometer, an analog clock and a 7k rpm tachometer.

For US bidders, this wagon being right-hand-drive and under 25 years old makes it currently not exportable to the US.

Powering the wagon is a 2.4L V6 M112 engine. This engine features an entirely aluminum cylinder head and engine block construction. The dual cylinder heads feature a single overhead cam with 3-valves per cylinder totalling 18.
