Description
This is a 2011 BMW 1M finished in Valencia Orange (paint code #B44) over a Black leather and grey Alcantara interior. This E82 1M is powered by a 3.0-liter N54 inline-six engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. 740 units of the 1M Coupe were released to the USA during its one year production run in 2011, and just 220 were exported to Canada. This example is #96. This three owner example has just 52K-miles (83k-kms) on the odometer and is currently registered in Alberta with an active and (Normal) status.

The 1M only shares its hood, roof, trunk and doors panels with the regular 1-series model, everything else including both bumpers, front fenders, rear quarter panels, side-skirts, mirrors, ducting and fender liners are all unique to the 1M. Dual gloss black kidney grills are framed by Xenon headlights. Illuminated side markers are M badged and featured on the front fenders while the taillights incorporate LEDs. The car is further equipped a rear boot spoiler, and rain sensing wipers. 19” forged alloy double spoke “M” wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, 245/35ZR19 at the front and 265/35ZR19 at the back which are said to have approx. 80% tread remaining. Stopping power is managed by vented and cross-drilled disc brakes at all corners. The seller notes that the front brake rotors, pads, and sensors were replaced at 71K-km. The 1M has the same track dimensions as the E9X M3, but a 4 inch shorter wheelbase, and 50/50 weight distribution, giving it good lateral grip through corners.
XPel Paint Protection film has been applied to the entire front-end and choice areas around the rest of the exterior. Inside the cabin, seating for four is upholstered in leather, with Alcantara suede on the doors, dash, instrument hood, and shift boot. Orange stitching provides an eye-grabbing contrast. An M badged tilting and telescopic leather-wrapped wheel with tri-colour stitching commands the 1M with multi-functional controls including cruise control, voice command, volume controls, and more. This fronts an analog instrumentation panel with a 300 km/hr speedometer with an inset fuel level indicator to the left, an 8K rpm tachometer with an inset oil temperature gauge to the right, and an orange illuminated digital display below. The digital display can present speed in both mph and kph. Steering is a hydraulic design geared to 12.4:1. M badging is found on the shifter and resin coated door sills. The 1M is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-six cylinder engine with an air-to-air intercooler producing 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels solely via a 6-speed manual transmission and a variable locking limited slip differential.
