This E-Class is currently registered in the province of Ontario with an active and (Normal) registration status although it is currently located in Montreal, QC. The 300E is a W124 model; these were produced by the German manufacturer Daimler-Benz from 1984 to 1997. This particular example has had a custom widebody fitted while imagining the legendary AMG Hammer.

This E-Class saloon has been repainted in fashion grey and its original colour is Astral Silver which is paint code: (735U). It has a chrome grille adorned with a Mercedes-Benz three pointed star. Large flush headlights come equipped with washers and are framed by wraparound amber turn lights, and the tail lights are fluted. The centre of the hood is raised and the side view mirrors have matching wrapped housings. In widebody hammer style, this 300E has had a custom widebody fitted with AMG badges around the exterior along with a three-piece trunk spoiler.

The windshield comes equipped with a single wiper that has an extended reach, maximising its coverage. This Hammer tribute car has been fitted with three-piece 17” AMG-style wheels wrapped inIngen Antares A1 tires sized 225/45ZR17 in the front and 275/40R17 in the rear.

The 300E interior is trimmed in Alpaca gray leather with wood bezels on the centre console. The seats, upholstered in leather, are powered with memory settings. The locks, windows, sunroof, and mirrors are also powered.

The sedan comes equipped with cruise control, automatic climate control, air conditioning, a factory anti-theft warning system, a powered antenna, and a Pioneer stereo head unit with an aux cord input. Both front and rear passengers have access to arm rests and storage pockets, and the rear seats have fold-down headrests should the driver need to improve rearward visibility.

A black four-spoke Mercedes-Benz steering wheel fronts an analog instrumentation panel with an AMG-branded 300kph speedometer at the centre. Fuel economy, level, and oil level and temperature gauges are placed to the left, and a 7K rpm tachometer is at the right with an inset analog clock.

The 300E is powered by the Mercedes-Benz M103 - a 3.0-liter SOHC inline-six cylinder engine driving the rear wheels. This is factory rated at 177 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque when new. The M103 is a lightweight cast iron block with aluminium heads, hydraulic lifters, and KE-Jetronic fuel injection. The self-levelling rear suspension utilises a multi-link axle, struts, and coil springs. The seller notes that the engine has a ticking noise which can be heard in the included video. No diagnostic has been done to investigate and the 300E will be sold AS-IS. The ticking noise coming from the engine is why we, Formula Auctions, have labelled this lot a Project.
