Further comfort, convenience, and safety features include navigation, satellite radio, teleservices, Apple CarPlay, soft-close doors, road sign detection, lane change warning, and surround view.
The 2017 X5 M is powered by BMW’s S63B44T2 engine - a 4.4-liter DOHC twin-turbo V8 with Variable Valve Lift Technology and a pulse tuned cross-engine exhaust manifold. This is factory rated at 575 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission drives all four wheels with the M-tuned xDrive AWD Dynamic Performance Control system.
