Description
This is a RB26-powered 1998 Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT Sedan finished in Pearl white (Paint code: QT1) over dark grey cloth upholstery. This R34 Skyline is currently registered in British Columbia with a clean and (Normal) status, with approx. 132K-km on the odometer. Factory highlights include power folding mirrors, air conditioning, power windows and power door locks.
The seller notes that this Skyline has a build date of June 1998 and will be eligible for import to the USA in June of 2023. Should the winning bidder be USA-located, the seller will include free storage until it is import-eligible. In June 2023 this skyline will be directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. Seating inside the cabin has room for four and the seats have been protected with vinyl seats covers that are easily removable. The seats are trimmed in a dark gray cloth with light gray jungle-style pattern inserts. The seller notes a replacement shift knob is included in the sale.
The three-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel fronts the original gauge cluster which shows just under 132k-kms (82k-miles). A flip-out double din touchscreen head unit has been added and a Greddy Profec B-spec II turbo timer is mounted on the steering column. The gauge cluster shows a 180kph speedometer to the left and a 9k-rpm tachometer to the right. A typical rust formation spot on the R33-R34 skyline’s are the strut towers, which the seller mentions are rust free and intact on this example. Photos of the undercarriage are included in the gallery below and the seller has also included a walk-around video and videos showing the skyline idling and driving.
The exterior is finished in Pearl white paint and has been modified with several OEM R34 GT-R body parts. The hood, front fenders, front bumper + Valence and headlights are all OEM R34 GT-R parts. The front-end conversion was said to have been completed while the vehicle was still in Japan. The suspension is an HKS coilover system and a cat-back exhaust with a burnt titanium tip has been added. Power is sent to the rear wheels solely which keeps true to form for the original powertrain layout.
A set of Forged three-piece Rays Volk GT-V wheels have been fitted on the skyline and these wheels wear Goodyear RS-02 tires measuring 275/35ZR18 at the rear and AUPLUS tires at the front measuring 235/40ZR18. The seller mentions the front brake rotors are due for replacement. Noted imperfections are pictured in the gallery below.
The original RB25 engine has been replaced in favour of a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six that features dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, and six individual throttle bodies. It was factory rated at 276 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine was sourced out of a R34 GT-R. The original automatic transmission has been replaced in favour of an R34 skyline 5-speed manual transmission. The seller notes recent maintenance including new coil packs and new air filters along with new tension rod bushings are included in the sale.
