This 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 is #44 of approximately 500 North American-Specification station wagons imported into the US for the model year. The truck is finished in Arles Blue over Charcoal cloth and vinyl and is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a roll cage, a pop-up glass sunroof, 16″ five-spoke wheels, and inward-facing rear jump seats. The current owner purchased the truck in 1997, and it now shows ~ 87k miles. This Defender 90 NAS is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with the owner’s manual, a clean New British Columbia registration.

For US bidders, this defender is is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. It can also be imported duty-free as it was sold new in the USA. For more information on transport in Canda/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here

The aluminum body panels are finished in Arles Blue and accented by black wheel arch flares, and NAS models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory. Additional equipment includes sidestep bars, a tubular rear bumper, a receiver hitch, and alpine windows. A rear plaque identifies this truck as #044/500. The NAS rides on five-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, with a matching spare mounted on the swing-out rear tire carrier. Braking is facilitated by power-assisted discs at all corners.

Inside, the front bucket seats are upholstered in Charcoal cloth and vinyl and are complemented by a gray dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include a pop-up glass sunroof and the original radio is in place. The cargo area features four inward-facing jump seats trimmed in Charcoal cloth and vinyl. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows ~ 87k miles.

The current owner has maintained the vehicle meticulously over the 27 years of ownership, adding 70k miles. Originally bought from the first owner in Portland with approximately 17k miles on the odometer. It was regularly serviced by a British mechanic until 2010 and has since been maintained annually by a local, highly regarded mechanic. Original service records are kept and available for the buyer. The vehicle comes with upgraded LED headlights, the original headlights, and any spares accumulated over the years, including a roof carrier/rack. A Carfax report lists some of the major services completed.
Service Highlights from recent years:

- 2017: Thermostat replaced, radiator replaced.
