Description
This 2001 Toyota Soarer is finished in Millennium Silver Metallic with a black leather interior and is propelled by a 4.3-liter V8 engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with a power-retractable hardtop, a rear spoiler, HID headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer.
Recent maintenance includes a completed Ontario Safety inspection and the installation of new control arms. The SC430 was imported to Canada in August 2022 and is now being offered for sale by the seller with an active and normal registration status.
For US bidders, this Soarer must be imported through a registered importer that will assess what modifications need to be done to meet DOT and EPA standards. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
Both the Soarer and SC430 were exclusively available as convertibles with a body-color power-retractable hardtop. This example is finished in Millennium Silver Metallic (1C0) and features HID headlights, fog lights, a rear decklid spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The 18-inch dish-style five-spoke alloy wheels show some signs of wear and are fitted with 245/ Yokohama AVID Ascend GT All Season tires.
The vehicle is equipped with traction control and a four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension, with braking handled by four-wheel disc brakes featuring ventilated front rotors. Some minor scratches are present, and a parking sensor in the bumper has come loose.
The interior boasts black leather upholstery on the seating surfaces, complemented by wood trim accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Features include heated and power-adjustable front bucket seats, front-seat position memory, rear twin seats, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a nine-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer.
The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel is in front of a 180-kph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 73k kilometers.
Under the hood, the 4.3-liter 3UZ-FE V8 engine features dual overhead camshafts and VVT-i variable valve timing. When new, the factory-rated output was 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
