This is a Canadian-spec. 1998 Acura Integra Type-R and it is currently registered in the province of Alberta, Canada with an active and (Normal) registration status. The included Carfax report shows this Type R was sold new in Alberta and has remained registered in the province since. The Carfax report is clean and shows no history of any accidents or insurance claims.
In the shade of Championship White with a complementing interior of black cloth and suede upholstery, this Type-R is propelled by a 1.8-liter B18C5 inline-four engine paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. All 1998 Type R models intended for the US and Canadian markets exited the factory with a Championship White (NH-0) finish. These models showcase a front lip spoiler, an elevated rear wing, a power antenna, a rear window wiper, Type R graphics, and red Acura badging.
In August 2023, new Nankang NS-2R tires were recently fitted onto the seven-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels. These wheels were also powder-coated white in anticipation of the sale. Notably, the Type R model received larger disc brakes at each corner in comparison to the standard Integra.
The front windshield was replaced in July 2023 and the front bumper and lip were refinished in August 2023. A dent on the edge of the driver’s door is noted.
Inside, the cabin boasts seats upholstered in black cloth adorned with microsuede inserts and highlighted by red stitching. The interior is equipped with climate control, a digital clock, and power windows and locks, along with a JVC double-din Bluetooth stereo.
A specific identifier for this Type R, a #0680 numbered plaque, is affixed to the central armrest. The steering wheel, designed with four spokes, fronts an analog cluster with a 230-kph / 150-mph speedometer, an 10k-rpm redline tachometer, as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
