This is a 2000 BMW E39 M5 finished in Jet black paint (paint code 668). This M5 is offered for sale privately and it is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with a (Normal) status. This M5 was sold new in Edmonton, AB and has remained registered in Alberta since new. The seller mentions that he is the third owner after acquiring the M5 in 2018 and has added approximately 1000kms over his 3 years of ownership. This M5 is offered with a Carfax report, service records and is free of liens.
Highlights of the factory equipment include 18-inch “M” double spoke wheels, Xenon headlights with washers, heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and a navigation system. The M5 Features model specific bodywork including an aerodynamic front/rear bumper and M5 badges molded into the exterior door trim. The exhaust is expelled via a true quad-tip muffler system.

Power is sent from the engine to the rear wheels via a manual 6-speed transmission. The 18” wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot super sports measuring 245/40ZR18 in the front and 275/35ZR18 in the rear.
The included Carfax shows one accident and a corresponding insurance claim in 2005 in the amount of $4251 under a prior ownership. The seller mentions that the rear bumper was replaced in this incident. An “M” leather wrapped three-spoke multi-function wheel steers the M5 and a leather/wood trimmed shift knob changes the gears.
Behind the wheel is a 300km/h speedometer, 8000 rpm tachometer and fuel/temperature gauges.
Powering the M5 is a 4.9-litre V8 naturally aspirated engine. The BMW engine code is S62 and it features dual Vanos (Variable-valve timing) cylinder heads and individual throttle bodies inside a Carbon fiber emblem-crested intake plenum.
