This is a 1978 Citroën CX 2400 Pallas finished in white over a black leather interior. This top-trim French executive fastback sedan is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-4 cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle. The Citroën CX was first launched at the 1974 Paris Motor Show and voted European Car of the Year in 1975. Production ran until 1991. This vehicle is currently registered in Quebec with an active and (Normal) status where the seller mentions it is stored in a heated indoor garage. The odometer reads approximately 94K-km. Service manuals, various spare parts, and a spare wheel and tire are included in the sale.
For US bidders, this Citroën CX Pallas is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.

The CX is named for the French symbol for drag coefficient, of which this Citroën has a 0.36 value in wind tunnel testing. Its unique exterior design features chrome window bezels, body side mouldings, and rocker panels, and a high, convex fastback roofline. The bumpers are chrome plated with shock absorbing overriders and side caps made of black rubber. The front fascia has a hawkish nose with large neon yellow headlamps and a black egg crate grille with Citroën badging. The rear quarter windows are fixed and accented by a set of straight horizontal louvers on the C pillar beneath CX Pallas script. The taillights are stacked horizontal bars. The CX 2400 Pallas rides on 14” wheels wrapped in Michelin Defender tires. The seller notes that the CX was re-sprayed in its original white paint in approx. year 2000. The car has a curb weight of 2,866 lbs.

The cabin features black leather seating for five with ribbed inserts and black piping. Black rubber floor mats are placed on blue carpeting. The front removable head rests employ snap-on buttons. An aftermarket stereo with bluetooth connectivity is installed atop the centre console, above air vents, window switches, the shifter, e-brake, and sliding climate controls. A one-spoke steering wheel with Pallas script fronts analog instrumentation with square gauges; a rotating drum speedometer and tachometer, and a five-digit odometer. Power steering is a speed-sensitive DIRAVI system. The glove compartment locks and sits below a concave dash with a dish shaped storage area. A spare tire is mounted in the engine bay. Door locks are powered. The seller notes that all electronics and gauges are functioning properly.

The 1978 Citroën CX 2400 Pallas is powered by a transverse mounted 2.3-liter inline-four cylinder engine, sending power to the front wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. This engine is rated at 113 horsepower and 129 lb-ft of torque when new. Suspension is a hydropneumatic self-levelling design with 4 levels of preference that can be set by the driver. The suspension is attached to sub-frames on flexible mountings for improved ride quality and reduced noise.
