Originally delivered to Premier Chevrolet of Buena Park, California, in 2010, this Cadillac CTS-V sedan has a distinctive history. In 2013, it was imported and acquired by the present seller, who has been the sole owner since then. The car was subsequently registered in Alberta, where it has been stationed ever since. Its exterior is adorned in Thunder Gray ChromaFlair Paint, while the interior boasts black leather upholstery. Powering this vehicle is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. A range of features graces the vehicle, including adaptive HID headlights, high-performance Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control, a navigation-equipped Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a set of 19" wheels. The odometer reads 111k-miles, and accompanying the sale are the manufacturer's literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and valid Alberta registration documents listed under the seller's name.
For US bidders this CTS-V can be imported to the US duty-free as it was manufactured in the US and bears a VIN starting with “1”. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.
The second generation of CTS-V models introduced distinct design elements such as a raised "power dome" hood, unique lower bodywork, and a mesh chrome grille. This specific example boasts a finish in Thunder Gray ChromaFlair Paint, with added features like adaptive HID headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a third brake light functioning as a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The vehicle rides on 19" satin black wheels equipped with Continental Extreme Contact tires, measuring 265/35 in the front and 285/35 in the rear, with manufacturing date codes indicating 2019. Noteworthy performance aspects include stability and traction-control systems, an independent suspension incorporating magnetic ride control, and Brembo disc brakes featuring V-branded calipers.
Inside the car, the heated and ventilated power-adjustable Recaro front seats are upholstered in Ebony leather and microsuede. These seats are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The vehicle comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, carpeted floor mats, carbon-fiber-look trim, keyless access, cruise control, navigation functionality, and a Bose sound system. The three-spoke steering wheel, wrapped in alcantara, frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline. Additional gauges provide information on coolant temperature, boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer displays a mileage of 111k-miles (approximately 179k-kilometers). The seller notes that the boost gauge is currently inoperable.
Under the hood, the supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 engine, originally rated at 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque, takes center stage. Power is channeled to the rear wheels via a 6L90 six-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Recent servicing conducted by the seller involved a spark plug replacement in early June, with the spark plugs set to a gap of 0.027" to enhance performance. Notably, there is an illuminated check engine light attributed to the back O2 sensor, which is a result of the custom side exhaust pipes (custom Kuks exhaust pipes) causing alterations in the rear O2 readings.
