Description
This is a 2007 Saturn Sky Redline convertible with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission that is finished in Onyx black paint (code: WA8555). As per the included Carfax, this Sky was sold new in Washington, United states in 2007 where it was then imported to Canada under a previous ownership in 2012. The Sky is currently registered in British Columbia with a (Normal) status.
It is being offered for sale by the seller privately and the Carfax shows no accidents or insurance claims. The seller mentions he has added approximately 3000 miles under his ownership since purchasing the vehicle early this year. Being an ex-us vehicle, the Sky can be re-imported to the US duty-free.
Highlights of the factory equipment on the sky include 18” wheels, a black removable soft-top, Leather upholstered interior, a 2.0L turbocharged engine and a limited-slip differential.
The exterior of the Sky features an aerodynamic rear spoiler, fender vents, fog lights, a removable black soft top and Red Line badging. The Red line trim differs from the base Sky by featuring a turbo-charged engine, Bilstein sport-tuned suspension and a re-worked front bumper for improved cooling and downforce.
The 18” wheels are an optional upgrade from factory and have been painted a bronze color under a previous ownership. The wheels wear Bridgestone Potenza RE970as tires at all four corners which measure 245/40/R18 on all four.
The seller mentions that there a light scratches under the front bumper and two small dents are noted on the driver side door. The paint on all the panels of the Sky is believed to be original.
The interior of the sky is finished in black leather with white stitching on the seats, steering wheel and shift boot. Sky Red line logos are embroidered into the seat backs. The multi-function steering wheel fronts a black/white faced cluster with a digital odometer showing just under 53k miles. Finishing the interior are chrome door handles, door sill plates, pedals, shift knob and center console dials.
Driver amenities include a pop-out cupholder, Air conditioning, cruise control and various storage compartments. Providing sound is a stainless-steel high-flow exhaust and also a 6-speaker sound system.
The seller mentions that the only modifications from factory is an aftermarket ECU re-map which ups the from power output from 260hp/260 lb-ft to 290hp/340 ft-lb of torque.
Powering the Sky Red line is an Ecotec 2.0L inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The boosted air is routed through a front-facing intercooler. Power is sent from the front mounted engine through a 5-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The seller mentions an oil change was completed recently as well as the brakes and tires are noted at approximately 70% life remaining.
