Description
This is a V12-powered 2006 BMW 760Li finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (paint code #475) over a black Nasca leather interior. This E65 7-Series is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 paired with a 6-speed Steptronic Automatic transmission. Highlights of the factory equipment include 19” wheels, active cruise control, quad zone climate control, woodgrain in-laid interior accents, heated front and rear seats, and rain-sensing wipers. This BMW is currently registered in British Columbia with approx. 135K-kms and an active and (Normal) status. The seller notes that he purchased this 7-series in 2020, and he is the third owner. See the Carfax and service documents in the gallery below.
For US bidders, this BMW 760Li is importable after a compliance letter from BMW USA has been obtained. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
This fourth generation 7-Series sedan has a kidney grille with chrome slats and a chrome surround beneath BMW badging centering the hood. The seller notes some rock chips are present. Headlights are auto-levelling Xenon units with washers, and halogen fog lights are integrated into the valence framing the lower grille.
The sunroof is one-touch powered, and exterior mirrors are auto-dimming, heated, and auto-tilting. The rain sensing wipers have a newly replaced moisture sensor. Door handles and rocker panels are equipped with courtesy lighting. At the rear, the trunk has a small spoiler lip, a BMW resin coated badge and a chrome 760Li emblem - the Li refers to a direct fuel injected long wheelbase model.
Newly installed 19” G11 7-series spec wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires measuring 245/45R19 with ventilated anti-lock disc brakes. The BMW 760Li measures 204 inches long, 75 inches wide, and 58 inches high, with a 123 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of 4,905 lbs.
Inside the cabin, seating for five is upholstered in black premium Nasca leather. The front seats are 14-way powered, heated, and ventilated, with memory settings for the driver’s seat, wheel, and mirror positioning. The rear seats are also heated/ventilated and equipped with a folding pass-thru armrest. High gloss two-tone burled walnut wood trim accents the dash, centre console, and doors; an optional upgrade.
The infotainment system incorporates BMW iDrive on an LCD screen, with a 6-CD changer, 11 speakers, 2 subwoofers, and a BMW cell phone. A three-spoke multifunction tilting and telescopic heated leather wrapped steering wheel fronts an analog instrumentation panel with a 260 km/hr speedometer.
Further comfort, convenience and safety features include quad-zone climate control, remote keyless entry, one-touch power windows, remote trunk release, a universal garage door opener, courtesy lighting, navigation, cruise control, a trip computer, park distance control, stability control, traction control, front and rear airbags with occupant sensing deactivation, and an anti-theft alarm.
The 2006 BMW 760Li is powered by a 6.0-litre DOHC 48-valve V12 engine with variable valve timing and direct injection, paired with a 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. This is rated at 438 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 444 lb-ft of torque at 3,950 rpm when new. Four-wheel independent self-levelling suspension is a MacPherson double-pivot strut design with coil springs up front and self-levelling multi-link at the rear with twin tube gas pressure shock absorbers. The car is further equipped with active anti-roll bars and aluminium front and rear subframes. The seller mentions that the car will undergo an oil change soon, and that under his ownership the water pump, fan clutch, coolant hoses, fuel pump, valve cover gasket, and dynamic drive module were replaced.
