This is a 2002 BMW 330ci convertible finished in Topaz Blue (paint code #364) with a navy soft top over a grey leather interior. It is powered by a 3.0-liter DOHC inline-six engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The E46 3 Series BMW was produced by the German automaker from 1997 to 2006. This 330ci is registered in Quebec with approximately 115K km, 5K being added by the seller in his two years of ownership. The seller believes himself to be the third owner of this 330ci.
For US bidders, this BMW 330ci is importable after a compliance letter from BMW Germany has been obtained. If the highest and winning bidder is US-based, the seller will acquire this letter. The fourth generation of BMW’s range of 3 Series compact executive cars is lauded for its simple, timeless exterior design. The car has a low profile, short front and rear overhangs, a mid body line that connects with the front and rear bumpers, and a raised centre section within the hood that blends seamlessly with the traditional BMW kidney grill. These features become further pronounced with the M Sport body kit found on this 330ci. Auto-levelling Bi-Xenon high intensity headlamps, daytime running lights, and turn signal lights encased within horizontal aerodynamic covers frame the grille, along with the circular BMW badge centering the hood. Fog lights and interval rain sensing wipers are standard equipment on the 330ci. The car’s character lines are subtle and straight, and a slight spoiler edge is integrated into the trunk lid, along with extensions of the LED taillights. Dual exhaust tips emanate from beneath the black valence on the driver’s side at the rear. The seller advises that the push-button convertible top raises and lowers without issue. This 330ci rides on 17” M Sport wheels wrapped in newer staggered Pirelli P-Zero tires, 225/45R17 at the front and 245/40R17 at the back, with recently serviced ABS disc brakes. The BMW 330ci is 177 inches long, 70 inches wide, and 54 inches high, with a 107 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of apx 3,400 lbs. The seller mentions that the car was involved in a minor collision requiring repairs to the front left side, for which all OEM parts were used.
Inside, the 330ci has leather upholstered seating for four passengers. The front bucket seats are M-Sport optioned; 10-way power adjustable, with more substantial side bolsters, and slide-out thigh support. M-Sport badging is found on the door sills. A three-spoke M-Sport tilting and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an analog instrument panel with a 250 km/hr speedometer and a fuel level gauge to the left, and a 7K rpm tachometer and fuel temperature gauge to the right. Dash lights below these are illuminated orange. Twill weave carbon fibre accents the dash, shifter housing and door armrests. Convenience, comfort, and entertainment features include satellite navigation, air conditioning, microfilter ventilation, power windows, a CD player with Harmon Kardon speakers, a trip computer, cruise control, a rear window defogger, and powered, heated exterior mirrors. The convertible top comes with a glass rear window and wind deflector. Front, side, and headliner airbags, an anti-theft alarm, and remote keyless entry are standard safety features on the 330ci convertible.
This RWD 330ci is powered by a 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine uses Valvetronic variable valve lift, and is factory rated at 225 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and 214 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. The fully independent suspension utilises many aluminium components in order to decrease unsprung mass, with coil springs at all four corners. The BMW 330ci has a 50/50 weight distribution. The seller notes that the oil was changed 1000 kms ago, and that he replaced the clutch and control arm bushings this summer.
