In August 1993, the R33 Skyline made its debut, offering both coupe and sedan body styles. Although slightly heavier than its predecessor, the R32, the R33 incorporated important safety enhancements, such as an airbag system and internal crash bars, making it notably safer than previous models. The GTS-25 variants were powered by the larger "RB25DE" 6-cylinder engine, providing a boost in performance. Production of the R33 Skyline came to an end in 1998, concluding its successful run.
The modifications made to this particular Skyline were limited to the installation of aftermarket coil overs, which improve the suspension system for enhanced performance and handling. Additionally, a set of Rays Gram light wheels in a silver finish, adorned with blue decals, were added to give the car a unique visual appeal. These wheels were paired with new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires, providing excellent traction and grip.
The car comes equipped with a limited-slip differential, enhancing its traction and handling capabilities. It also features an HICAS 4-wheel steering system, which aids in improved maneuverability. The Type M body kit adds a sporty and stylish touch to the car's exterior. Additionally, the car is equipped with fog lights and a rear window wiper, providing enhanced visibility in various weather conditions.
Inside the car, you'll find comfortable cloth upholstery. The automatic climate control system allows for personalized temperature settings, ensuring a pleasant driving experience. The car is equipped with a CD player for entertainment purposes. Convenient power-operated windows, mirrors, and locks add to the ease of use and functionality of the vehicle.
Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-6 engine, delivering an impressive output of 217 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The power generated by the engine is efficiently transferred to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, allowing for a direct and engaging driving experience.
