This luxury 4-door sedan is of unibody construction, and features extended rear windows, chrome trimming around the exterior and an ever-flex roof. The roof is trimmed in white vinyl that has been professionally cleaned in preparation for sale. The Silver Spur is the long wheelbase version of its contemporary Silver Spirit. It measures 211.4 inches long by 74.3 inches wide. These vehicles were built in four iterations, or Marks. 1,152 Mark II’s were produced between 1989 and 1993.
The Silver Spur sits on 15” alloy wheels with stainless steel wheel trim and painted rings, wrapped in P235/70R15 Yokohama Avid Touring tires on all four.
The interior is finished in Ivory white leather with blue piping on the seats and doors. The dash, door-cards, centre console and table trays feature inlaid and cross banded burl walnut wood trim. Dark blue Wilton carpets finish the interior trimming. Dual-zone climate control, power windows, seats and door locks are standard equipment. Front seats are electrically heated with power operated pneumatic lumbar support, and the rear seats recline.
Burl walnut picnic trays fold down for rear passengers. A Kenwood USB capable stereo has been installed. The parking brake has an automatic release which is linked to the gear selector. The four spoke leather wrapped steering wheel fronts an analog gauge cluster, with a mph/kph speedometer to the left, and a fuel/temperature gauge to the right.
The 6750 cubic-inch 6.75-liter aluminum V8 engine is capable of 226 horsepower at 4300 rpm and sends power to the rear wheels by way of a 3-speed GM TH400 automatic transmission. The engine utilizes Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and is naturally aspirated. Rolls-Royce used Citroen’s hydraulic self-levelling suspension at the rear, and introduced Automatic Ride Control which adjusts dampers at all four wheels in real time. Steering is power rack-and-pinion, and ABS disc brakes are equipped all-around. The seller mentions that the transmission was rebuilt approximately 4 years ago, and an oil change was done recently, within the last 100km.
