This 4x2 pickup is powered by a 4.0L V6 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Ranger Edge trim denotes a 4x2 Ranger with the front suspension, ride height, and tires of a 4x4 Ranger. This Ranger Edge SuperCab has a honeycomb grille with a Ford oval at its centre. Fog lights are integrated into the body-coloured lower valance. Headlights and turn signal lights are side by side rectangular units. Ranger Edge emblems are placed near the front fenders, with Edge decals near the rear fenders above a footstep cutout placed at the front of the box. Black tubular running boards run the length of the extended cab.
A Ford oval emblem is placed on the passenger's side of the tailgate. The exhaust outlet has a 90 degree bend and exits behind the passenger wheel mudguard, which are installed at all four wheels.
The Ranger rides on 15” wheels with Ford centre caps wrapped in brand-new BF Goodrich trail terrain tires, 235/75R15 all around, with ventilated disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear.
The cab of this Ranger Edge Ford pickup is upholstered in Graphite two-tone grey cloth, with 2+2 seating. The centre arm rest can be folded up to create a bench seat, and the passenger airbag can be disabled. The rear seats can fold up to increase storage space. These are accessed with suicide doors.
Rubber Ford-branded mats protect the carpet, and Ford script accents the black door sills. An aftermarket JVC stereo has been installed and is wired to 4 speakers, with air conditioning controls below.
A four-spoke steering wheel fronts analog instrumentation with an 8K rpm tachometer to the left and a 200 km/hr speedometer to the right, with auxiliary gauges surrounding. Steering is a rack and pinion design.
This Ranger Edge is powered by a 4.0-liter V6 paired to a 5-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. This is rated at 207 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 238 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm when new.
