Description
This is a 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow LWB sedan in a black wrap with a black interior. It is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Silver Shadow long wheelbase version cars were produced by the British manufacturer from 1969 to 1976, with only 2,776 examples rolling off the line. This luxury sedan is currently registered in Nova Scotia with a clean and (Normal) status. The odometer reads approximately 83K-kms.
For US bidders, this Silver Shadow is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.

This classic saloon style Rolls is of a unitary monocoque construction and has a satin black wrap on the hood, roof, and trunk lid, with a gloss black wrap elsewhere. The car’s original paint is a Silver Mist Metallic Green. A chrome strip and Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament centre the raised hood and tall black grille. Quad headlamps are housed in chrome surrounds above a chrome bumper. Amber turn signal lights are found on the fenders, with reflectors on the quarter panels. The car has chrome character lines and window bezels, and diving board bumpers with chrome inserts. This Silver Shadow rides on 15” wheels, with 235/70R15 BF Goodrich Long Trail tires. The car is 208 inches long, 71 inches wide, and 60 inches high, with a 124 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of 4,980 lbs.

Inside, a two-spoke steering wheel fronts an analog instrument panel with a 200 km/hr speedometer, amps and fuel level gauges to its right, and a gear selection indicator mounted on the steering column. The Silver Shadow uses a rack and pinion steering design. Its front and back row of seats are upholstered in Connolly leather, with burled walnut wood trim being used for the centre console, dash, and door cards. The gas and brake pedals bear the “RR” logo, and the car is fitted with an Everflex padded roof. A Kenwood stereo head unit has been installed on the centre console. Air conditioning controls are found here as well, and an analog clock is placed above. Windows, seats, fuel door, and antenna are all powered in the Silver Shadow.

This Silver Shadow is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 with dual carburetors mated to a 3-speed TH400 automatic transmission. This was rated at 200 horsepower at 4000 rpm and 398 lb-ft of torque at 2000 rpm when new, with a claimed top speed of 190 km/hr. The 1974 Silver Shadow has an independent suspension, with Citroën-made hydropneumatic self-levelling and dual-circuit braking.
