Description

This is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG finished in obsidian black metallic paint (paint code:197). This E55 AMG is offered for sale privately by the seller and it is currently located in King, ON. Formula Auctions can arrange transport for this E55 AMG across Canada and USA. This E55 is currently registered in Ontario with a (Normal) status. The seller has owned this E55 for approximately 12 years and has added approximately 44,000kms under his ownership. The seller mentions he is the third known owner of this E55. All the modifications done to the E55 were completed under the seller’s ownership. Main attractions from a modification standpoint include a Weistec Supercharger system and a set of Forged Klassen ID M52R wheels. The supercharger system was professionally installed by Eurocharged Canada between 2015/16’ and was tuned accordingly on their Dyno. The wheels and supercharger kit reportedly cost upwards of $20k+ CAD at the time of installation.

The seller mentions the exterior of the E55 was professionally polished and ceramic coated in December 2017 and has subsequently been driven approx. 4500kms since. The exterior features tasteful modifications including a Suvneer E63 AMG front bumper conversion kit which widens and lowers the front of the E55 while improving cooling. A carbon fiber front splitter improves downforce further while a matching carbon fiber trunk lip and diffuser complete the rear. The troublesome air suspension that typically plagues these cars has been done away with, in a favor of a set of KW V2 Coilovers. To manage the increased power from the supercharger, the original rear differential has been upgraded with a Wave rack LSD taking its place. AMG differential cooling fins further the upgraded drivetrain. As previously mentioned, the wheels are Klassen 19” forged wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. There tires measure 255/35R19 at the front and a whopping 285/30R19 in the rear. The seller mentions minor rocks chips on the hood and front bumper.

The cabin is finished in black leather with brushed-black aluminum trim on the door cards, dash and center console. A Revotech Carbon Fiber steering wheel fronts a white-faced AMG gauge cluster. Showing on the digital display is just over 127,000 kms (78.9k-miles). The audio system has been upgraded with a Avin android head unit which is mated to an amp and a JL audio subwoofer. A subwoofer controller is also mounted in the driver’s footwell. The seller mentions a spare Avin head unit will also accompany the sale. A Snow performance Methanol injection system was installed and mounted in the trunk to keep intake temperatures lower. A Weistec Ice tank is also mounted in the spare-tire well. A boost gauge is mounted in the ash tray location to monitor the supercharger boost. The Carfax shows a claim in 2009 under a previous ownership that involved the right rear of the E55. The seller mentions a recent service including a transmission fluid change, Spark plugs & coil packs, differential fluid change, Oil change, battery replacement and a supercharger fluid change all of which were completed within the last 5000 kms.

Powering the E55 AMG is a 5.4L V8 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic AMG tuned transmission which can be manually shifted via the gear-selector or the paddles on the steering wheel. In stock form the M113k engine produces 469hp/516lb-ft of torque, however with the Weistec supercharger the power is increased dramatically to the tune of the numbers below. Features of the Weistec kit include a 1000hp liquid to Air intercooler core, high-flow billet fuel rail system, Cold-air intake and it saves 50lbs of weight over the factory supercharger. The E55 is also outfitted with longtube headers.
