Description
This 2004 Subaru Forester STi is finished in World Rally Blue Pearl (paint code #02C) over a black cloth and dark navy suede interior. Built on the Impreza platform with a high roof wagon body style, the high-performance Subaru Forester STi incorporates many of the components from the WRX STi. It is powered by a 2.5L DOHC turbocharged boxer flat-four mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This Subaru Forester STi was imported by the seller from Japan 7 months ago, where he notes it was given an auction grade 4. It is currently registered in British Columbia with an active and (Normal) status and approx. 137K-km on the odometer.

This Subaru Forester STI has a black wire mesh grille centred by a Subaru five-star oval emblem, with an offset STi emblem in red. Mirrored STi decals are placed on the body-coloured air dam. The aluminium hood is equipped with a body-coloured shaker scoop.
STi emblems accent the front doors, and the car’s profile is lowered with sculpted body-coloured side skirts. Subaru, Forester, and STi emblems accent the rear door, which has a pronounced spoiler wing at the top. A large diameter chrome-tipped exhaust exits to the left at the rear.
The Subaru Forester STI rides on ten-spoke 18” STi-branded wheels with yellow four-piston Brembo brake callipers at the front and two-pistons at the rear.
Inside the cabin, seating for four is upholstered in black cloth with navy inserts in perforated suede. The sport bucket seats up front have airflow headrests and red STi stitching. These are manually adjustable. Aluminium door sill plates bear STi Tecnica International script.
A three-spoke right hand drive leather wrapped steering wheel with an STi badge and red stitching fronts analog instrumentation backlit in blue with an 9K rpm tachometer at the centre, a 180 km/hr speedometer to the right, and fuel level and water temperature gauges to the left. A GReddy Profec boost controller has been installed on the dash to the right of the wheel. Drilled aluminium foot pedals are below. The shift knob has a red resin coated handle and a leather boot.
The centre console features a dash-mounted CyberNavi-equipped LCD screen, a digital clock, and air conditioning controls. The windows, mirrors, and locks are powered.
The 2004 Subaru Forester STi is powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC turbocharged boxer flat-four with four valves per cylinder paired to a 6-speed manual transmission driving all four wheels. This is rated at 300 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 278 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm, with a top speed of 230 km/hr when new. With the ECU remap these figures have been increased to approx. 340HP and 300 ft-lb. The STi employs a larger intercooler, a low-back-pressure exhaust system, upgraded sport springs, revised struts and shock absorbers, large anti-roll bars, and a cross-member brace over the standard Forester, with a 1.2” lower ride height and quick ratio steering.
