This is a 2001 Audi S3 finished in Brillantgelb yellow (paint code #9107) over a black leather and yellow suede two-tone interior. It is powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Audi S3 is based on the Audi A3 platform, first manufactured by the German automaker in 1996 and sold in Europe, Japan, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. This S3 is registered in Quebec with approximately 124K km, with less than 1K being added by the seller in his 6 months of ownership. The S3 resided in Ottawa for a time after being imported from Japan.

The Audi S3 subcompact was redesigned in 2001, with new turn indicators now integrated into the headlights, revised front wings, and rear light clusters. This S3 has a small black egg crate grille with a silver Audi four rings emblem, as well as unobtrusive S3 and Quattro badging. Xenon headlights with high pressure washers and fog lights set within the lower grille complete the front fascia. A body coloured character line extends through the front doors into the rear quarter and black side skirts are fitted above the rocker panels. The aluminium side mirror housings on this S3 are an optional feature.
The S3 rides on upgraded 18” Audi badged silver alloy 9-spoke wheels wrapped in new Firestone Indy 500 tires, with ventilated disc brakes. The seller notes that some wheel rash and stone chips on the hood are present, and visible in the walk-around video provided below. The Audi S3 is 164 inches long, 69 inches wide, and 56 inches high, with a 60 inch wheelbase.
Inside, the S3 has optioned black leather and yellow Alcantara suede upholstered seating for five passengers, with Recaro sport seats up front. These are factory upgraded to be heated, power adjustable, and equipped with substantial side bolsters and slide-out thigh support. Yellow suede inserts are also used for the door cards.
The dash and centre console feature a digital clock, climate controls, and a locking glove compartment. A three-spoke Audi steering wheel fronts an analog instrument panel. Electronic traction and stability control are standard safety technology.
This AWD Audi S3 is powered by a 1.8-liter fuel injected inline-four engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine uses variable valve timing technology, and is factory rated at 222 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. The S3 has a claimed top speed and zero-to-60 mph of 243 km/hr and 6.6 seconds, respectively. The S3 uses a Haldex system for the centre differential that adjusts torque distribution with an intermediary biaser as traction changes. The seller notes that recent service includes an engine oil change, transmission fluid flush, Haldex fluid flush, and filter flush. He further comments that the rear shocks have been replaced, as have the front ball joints and sway bar links.
