It is powered by a 82kWh lithium-ion battery and is propelled by one permanent magnet synchronous AC motor and one AC induction motor which translates to a range of 531 km. Tesla began production of this electric mid-size luxury AWD crossover in 2020. The seller is the original owner, having bought the vehicle new. It is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with a clean and (Normal) status. This Model Y vehicle comes with basic warranty of four years or 80K kms, and the battery and drive unit are under warranty for 8 years or 192K kms, whichever comes first in each case.

The Model Y uses Tesla's adaptable Smart Air Suspension, which uses advanced terrain recognition software to optimize for compression, rebound, and body acceleration. The system allows the driver to view these metrics in real-time, and adjust the vehicle's ride height to their preference within certain parameters.
