Description
This is a 2004 BMW 330i ZHP sedan finished in Sterling Silver Metallic (paint code #A08). It is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six cylinder engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. This 330i is being sold by its believed to be third owner, who mentions he has owned it for two years and added approximately 10,000 kms throughout his ownership period.
The 330i has all its original parts and is said to be modification-free. The included recent Carfax report shows no history of any accidents or insurance claims. The seller mentions that a recent inspection indicated no mechanical issues, and an oil change was performed at that time. Rear ball joints were recently replaced, as were the wiper blades and all fluids.
For US bidders, this 330i is importable after a compliance letter from BMW USA has been obtained. If the highest and winning bidder is US-based the seller will acquire this letter. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
This 330i is equipped with the M-Tech II aero package which features a unique aero-dynamic front and rear bumper. The side skirts are also sculpted and lower than the standard 3-series skirts. A colour matched trunk lid lip was factory optioned on this ZHP 330i as well. It sits on the original ZHP silver 18” alloy wheels with a 10-spoke design and BMW “M” badging (style: 135M). These wheels are wrapped in 225/40R18 92V Kumho Solus all-season tires all around.
The seller notes some rock chips, paint fade, wheel rash, and other blemishes not outside the norm for a car of this vintage. With BMW’s distinctive kidney grilles and quad lamps enclosed in shapely covers, this 3-Series sedan is simple, clean and sporty. In 2004 the German automaker made the contours of the character lines on the hood, fenders, and wheel flares more prominent.
The ZHP Performance Package upgraded interior of this BMW 330i and features bolstered cloth and Alcantara on the front and rear seats. The manually adjustable seats are considered a rare-option and save weight over the alternative powered seats. An "M" three spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an analog/digital gauge cluster. Aluminium silver cube trim frames the centre console dash and door cards to complete the interior.
The 6-speed manual transmission is commanded by a factory short-throw shifter and a leather shift knob with M-badging. It also has an auto-dimming rearview mirror, anthracite headliner, and a moonroof. Providing sound to occupants is the factory upgraded Harman Kardon system. Smart front and side impact airbags are standard equipment, as are the automatic climate control and microfilter ventilation system. The gauge cluster and all instruments are illuminated with soft orange lighting. The seller mentions that winter mats are included in the sale.
This 330i ZHP is powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter inline-six M54B30 engine with Valvetronic variable valve lift, paired to a 6-speed ZF S6-37 manual gearbox. The ZHP package came with a horsepower boost of 10 hp and 8 lb-ft of torque, bringing the factory rating to 235 hp and 222 lb-ft of torque. It also offered a higher redline, a shortened final gear ratio, and M sport suspension (with stiffer springs and dampers, large anti roll bars, stronger control arms, and a lower ride height) over the standard 330i. This E46 exclusive variant is sometimes referred to as a "baby M3".
