This is a 2008 Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore finished in red, white and green with a black seat. #253 of just 400 ever produced, it is powered by a 998 cc Testastretta L-twin four-stroke engine paired with a 6-speed transmission. Produced by the Italian firm since 1993, the Ducati Monster S4R S Tricolore standard bike was considered “the most powerful naked bike ever produced by Ducati” according to Motorcycle Sport & Leisure. This example is registered in British Columbia with an active and (Normal) status and just 18K-km on the odometer. The included Carfax report shows no history of any accidents or insurance claims.

This top of the range limited edition bike has a red, white, green, and gold colour scheme with twin high rise carbon fibre mufflers. Carbon fibre is also used for the exhaust heat guard, front fender, radiator covers, and cam belt covers.
It comes equipped with 17” Marchesini wheels wrapped in Diablo Rosso tires, 120/70ZR17 at both ends. These fresh tires were mounted and balanced in November 2022 (see service records in the documents gallery). Stopping power is managed by 320mm Brembo disc brakes with 4 piston callipers at the front and 2 pistons at the back.
Front suspension consists of an Öhlins 43mm inverted fully adjustable fork with titanium nitride surface treatment, and rear suspension is a fully adjustable Öhlins coilover monoshock connected to an aluminium single-sided swingarm by a progressive linkage. The bike has a tubular steel trellis frame, a dry weight of 390 lbs, and a 57 inch wheelbase.
This Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore is equipped with black rubber handlebars with easily accessible switches for headlights, horn, and turn signalling on the left, and brakes and Marelli electronic ignition control on the right.
The handlebars are mounted to a top triple clamp with 30mm bar risers. A black instrument panel houses a 260 km/hr speedometer to the left and an 11K-rpm tachometer to the right. Red, amber and green backlit indicator lights are above.
Ducati, Tricolore, and Testastretta script are found throughout. A stand purchased from Ducati and a matching Ducati helmet are included in the sale. The Helmet is sized XL (61-62).
This Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore is powered by a 998 cc Testastretta L-twin four-stroke engine paired with a 6-speed transmission driving the rear wheel. This liquid-cooled engine produces 130 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 77 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm when new. It employs Marelli electronic fuel injection with 50mm throttle bodies, dual overhead camshafts, and four desmodromic valves per cylinder. The front left fork seal was replaced in November 2022, as per the service record in the documents gallery.
