This is a 2015 Porsche Boxster convertible finished in Pure White (paint code #LC9A) with a black soft top over a black leather interior. This RWD roadster is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-6 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Boxster, and its sibling, the three-door fastback Cayman coupe, are mid-engine, two-door sports cars manufactured by the German automaker across four generations. The seller is the Boxster’s second owner, having bought the vehicle new from Porsche Centre Edmonton in 2016 with 2,100 km. With only 25K-km on the odometer, this Boxster is currently registered in Alberta with a clean and (Normal) status. The seller has noted no mechanical problems or cosmetic flaws, and shares that this Porsche was regularly serviced, garage-kept and covered, used lightly, and hand washed. The car cover is included in the sale.
For US bidders, this Porsche Boxster is importable after a compliance letter from Porsche AG has been obtained. If the highest and winning bidder is US-based, the seller will acquire this letter. The third generation Boxster was influenced by the styling of the Porsche 911 and 918. Its front and rear track, and wheelbase were extended somewhat over previous generations, while a 77 lb reduction in weight was achieved. Oblong Bi-Xenon automatic high-beam headlights extend through the wheel arches in typical Porsche fashion, and the fog lights are a straight bar design sitting atop the air vents in the front spoiler. The Porsche crest graces the hood and the wheel centre caps, with Porsche Boxster script found across the trunk lid. The rear window fitted with the convertible top is glass. The seller mentions that this Boxster has had a ceramic finish applied bby Auto Obsessed in Edmonton, with protective film applied to the hood, pillars, rockers, and back quarter panels. The Porsche Boxster is 172 inches long, 51 inches high, and 71 inches wide, with a 97 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of 2,910 lbs. It rides on silver 19” alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, 235/40ZR19 at the front and newly installed tires at the back that are 265/40ZR19, with black ABS disc brakes all around.
Inside, multi-adjustable leather sport seats are heated and cooled, indicating an Adaptive Sports Seats Plus with Memory package upgrade. The dash, shifter, and doors feature black leather with brushed aluminium trim, another upgrade. Power door locks and windows, keyless entry, airbags, cruise control, a trip computer, and an anti-theft alarm are standard equipment. The Porsche branded leather-wrapped tilting and telescopic three-spoke steering wheel fronts an instrument cluster with a 9K rpm tachometer at the centre, a 280 km/hr speedometer to the left, and a digital readout with trip information to the right. Steering is a rack and pinion design. Dual zone climate controls are found on the centre console beneath the infotainment centre, which employs 10 upgraded Bose speakers throughout the car. The rear window is equipped with a defogger and the rear shelf comes with a cargo net.
The Porsche Boxster is powered by a 2.7-liter DOHC flat-6 boxer engine with 4 valves per cylinder. This is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels, with a limited slip differential. This H6 engine is factory rated at 265 horsepower at 6,700 rpm and 205 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. The third generation Boxster came with a 40% more torsionally rigid chassis. Its fully independent suspension system utilises coil springs at all corners. The Boxster is further equipped with Active Stability Management and the Torque Vectoring System.
