This is a 2004 Citroën Saxo VTS finished in Polar White (paint code #WP). It is powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four cylinder engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The curb weight of the Citroën Saxo is factory rated at just 2,061 lbs. This Citroën Saxo was imported by the seller from Japan, who mentions he has owned it for 10 months and added 500 km in that time. The Saxo has all its original parts and is said to be modification-free. The seller mentions that a BC out-of-province vehicle import inspection was performed, and that he is selling the car to fund his next project. An English owner’s manual and a French workshop manual are included in the sale.
For US bidders, being a Japanese import and under 25 years-old, this Citroen cannot be directly imported to the US. If a US buyer would like to import this wagon, it would need to be federalized by bringing into US DOT and EPA compliance with a registered importer. This Citroën Saxo supermini hatchback has a sliding and tilting sunroof, a body-coloured grille, and black plastic side mouldings. It comes equipped with tinted windows and upgraded Halo headlights. The fog lights and side marker bulbs were also replaced by the seller. The original angled headlights are included in the sale.
The Saxo rides on 14” wheels with a 7-spoke design wrapped in 185/55R14 79V Dunlop tires. The seller notes that the front brakes have 30% remaining, the rear brakes have 50% left to go, and that a complete brake pad and rotor set is included in the sale. He further points out that the Citroën and Saxo badges were removed by the previous owner from the rear of the vehicle, but that replacement badges are included in the sale.
The seller mentions some rock chips on the hood and peeling visible on the bumpers. The Citroen Saxo is 146 inches long, 63 inches wide, and 54 inches high.
The interior of this Citroën Saxo VTS features a patterned cloth and grey plastic design, with seating for four. The second row seating is collapsible for increased storage capacity.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an analog gauge cluster, with a 210 km/hr speedometer and inset digital clock to the left, and a 8K rpm tachometer to the right. Climate controls and an aftermarket stereo are integrated into the dash.
The seller notes that in August 2022 the A/C pressure switch, belt, resistor, and refrigerant were replaced. The glove compartment, door panel compartments, seatback pockets, and cup and coin holders make up the storage compartments. Both sun visors have vanity mirrors.
This FWD Citroën Saxo VTS is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four cylinder engine with 16 valves, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. This offers a claimed top speed and zero-to-60 mph of 205 km/hr and 7.8 seconds, respectively. It is factory rated at 118 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 145 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. The VTS comes equipped with a 19mm front anti roll bar and a 22 mm rear anti roll bar. The seller notes that in March 2022, he replaced the timing belt, water pump, camshaft cradle seal, steering rack boot, coolant, and performed an oil change, replacing the oil filter at that time as well.
