This is a 2004 Mazda RX-8 finished in Velocity Red Mica (paint code #27A) over a black leather interior. This Japanese sports car is powered by a 1.3-liter Bi-rotar engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is currently registered in British Columbia with an active and (Normal) status, and approx. 93,500K-km on the odometer. This one-owner RX-8 was purchased new by the seller’s late husband in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The Mazda RX-8 was produced by the Japanese automaker from 2002 to 2012. Its front fascia features a black honeycomb grille below Mazda badging, bulging fenders, halogen headlamps with washers, and fog lights. The side view mirrors are powered and heated, the door handles are body coloured, and a black accented air vent is located behind the front fenders.
The front doors give way to suicide rear doors that provide access to the rear seats. This RX-8 has been equipped with a body coloured rear spoiler. Exhaust is expelled from dual chrome-tipped mufflers. The RX-8 is 174 inches long, 70 inches wide, and 52 inches high, with a 106 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of 3,051 lbs.
It rides on five-spoke 18” alloy wheels P225/45R18 with anti-lock brakes. The seller points out that the rear tail light has misted up, and some minor rock chips are present on the hood.
Inside the cabin, seating for four is upholstered in black leather with red inserts. The doors and steering wheel are designed in the same colorway; black with red inserts. A two-spoke tilting and multi-function steering wheel fronts analog instrumentation. The leather-wrapped wheel is an optional upgrade. Further comfort and convenience features include air conditioning, an on-glass antenna, illuminated vanity mirrors, 9 premium sound Bose speakers, a 6 CD changer, and an illuminated ashtray.
The 2004 Mazda RX-8 is powered by a 1.3-liter 13B-REW Wankel rotary engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The fully independent sport-tuned suspension employs front and rear stabiliser bars and a strut tower bar. The seller shares that the car underwent a fluid re-fresh one year ago, the ignition coil and plug wires were replaced at 84,000 kms, and oil changes were performed regularly.
