Description
The 1969 Cadillac Eldorado coupe was originally purchased brand new from Calgary Motor Products in 1969. After being in storage since the early 2000s, the seller inherited the Cadillac in 2022. The car showcases a Dark red exterior paint color with a white vinyl roof, complemented by red vinyl upholstery. Powering the Eldorado is a 472ci V8 engine, paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.
Chrome bumpers and trim add to the car's aesthetic appeal, while a remote-operated driver-side mirror enhances convenience. The Eldorado is equipped with power-assisted steering and power brakes for smooth handling and reliable stopping power. Automatic climate control ensures optimal comfort for occupants, while a push-button AM/FM radio provides entertainment options. Currently, this Eldorado is registered in the province of Alberta, Canada, and holds an active and normal registration status.
The vehicle is fitted with steel 15" wheels adorned with bright covers that display Cadillac crests. These wheels are paired with 235/75R15 whitewall tires. Power steering enhances the maneuverability of the car, while braking power is provided by power-assisted discs at the front and drums at the rear. Notably, the car was originally equipped with an air-ride suspension, which the seller confirms is in proper working order.
Originally, the car was ordered in a dark red paint color, complemented by a white vinyl top. The exterior paint was redone at approximately 67,000 miles, and there are no reported accidents during the seller's sole ownership. Notable exterior features include an "M" shaped front bumper, chrome accents throughout the exterior, and chrome mirrors.
Inside the cabin, you'll find a split front bench seat covered in red vinyl, which matches the red dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Faux-wood trim accents the dashboard and door panels, adding an elegant touch. The cabin is equipped with power windows, a push-button AM/FM radio, and automatic climate control featuring air conditioning to enhance comfort.
The steering wheel is a three-spoke design with a woodgrain-inlaid rim, providing a stylish and comfortable grip. Positioned in front of the driver is a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, accompanied by a fuel gauge and an analog clock on either side. The odometer displays a five-digit reading, indicating slightly over 69,000 miles.
The 472ci V8 engine came from the factory with a rating of 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. To transfer this power, a three-speed automatic gearbox is utilized, sending power to the front wheels.
For US bidders, this Eldorado is directly importable without modification as it is EPA & DOT exempt being greater than 25 years old. For more information on transport/import please visit our Transport/Import page here.
