Description
This is a 1927 Ford model T coupe finished in vibrant yellow paint. The paint also features hand-painted airbrush artwork along the headlights, fenders and body. The hand laid artwork is signed by Baker Boyz designs which is a custom paint shop based out of Edmonton, AB.
This Model T is listed for sale privately out of the seller’s personal collection and it is registered in Alberta, Canada. The Model T is currently located in Red Deer, AB and is stored in a heated garage.
This Model T underwent a thorough frame-off restoration including upgrading the powertrain, suspension, wheels, interior, etc. Many features have been updated to modern day technology from the power automated door opening to a Bluetooth stereo and a 383-cu in. Ford racing stroker engine.
The entire exterior of the model T has been restored and features a black canvas roof, yellow painted roof spoiler, tinted rear windows, automated door latches, LED third brake light, chrome side mirrors, dual headlights, black painted grill, chrome Ford sidestep plates, etc. The wheels are five-spoke chrome Center lines in a staggered setup. In the front the 14” wheels are wrapped in Matrix Tour RS tires measuring 185/70R14. In the rear the 15” wheels are wrapped in Hankook Steel Radial 827 tires measuring 235/70R15. All four tires are said to have greater than 90% tread remaining but the date of installation is unknown. Behind the wheels, the Model T has had disk brakes installed to handle braking for the rest of the upgraded powertrain. Adjustable coilover suspension has been added at all four corners. Underbody pictures have been included in the Gallery that further illustrates the extent of the drivetrain upgrades. A true dual-exhaust system expels the gases from the V8 with dual chrome Silverline tips at the exit point.
The cabin of the Model T has been entirely re-upholstered with black leather and white stitching on the door cards, seats and roof liner. The floor has been updated with black carpeting and matching black floor mats. An aftermarket three-spoke Grant wheel manages steering while a five-gauge “Classic Instruments” brand cluster keep an eye on fuel, Battery Volts, speed, oil pressure and water temp. The speedometer is denominated in MPH with a top speed of 140Mph however we believe this Model T can go much, much faster....Approximately 17.5k miles are shown on the analog odometer.
An Auto-gage tachometer with an integrated shift light is mounted on the roof to the drivers left while a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo system is mounted at the roof center. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic with a brushed aluminum gear selector and a chrome handled e-brake lever is mount on the floor just to the rear.
The seller mentions the Model T is powered by a Ford Racing 383 cu-in stroker motor that has been extensively upgraded with various modifications. Namely, Chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, braided-line fuel system with an inline Fuel-pressure regulator, chrome Edelbrock intake manifold, Taylor ignition wires, Lukar polished throttle body and a Quick Fuel polished carburetor. Horsepower and torque figures are not confirmed but estimates are provided below.
