Description
This is a 2005 Mirage Xpress Cargo trailer located in Sidney, BC. The seller mentions that the trailer has had three known-owners. It was purchased in 2005 for the purpose of hauling race cars to the track. As such, fitted tie down straps and a fitted wheel chock are included in the sale. As an interesting side note, the seller mentions that the first owner traded the trailer to its second owner for a totem pole, and the totem pole carver is a personal friend of the seller, who sold it to him. Also included in the sale are the locks for the man door, shower, and ramp door.
The Crystal White exterior skin of this trailer is fitted with 24” ATP stoneguard and extruded aluminium roof wraps. The triple-sealed galvanised roof and front of the trailer have a “radius” convex shape. The seams have been resealed and there are no signs of leakage inside the trailer. There is a crease on the passenger side panel and some other dents, and there are stickers and scratches on the ramp door. These imperfections are pictured in the gallery. The seller notes that the brakes, bearings, tires, and electronic braking assembly are functioning, as are the brake lights and the 7 pin connector.
The trailer's 15” wheels are fitted with QR25-TS Gladiator ST225/75R15 trailer tires. The hitch requires a 2-5/16 inch ball and is set for stabiliser bars if needed. Some rust is present on the 2” wide A-frame coupler and chains. The jack is a 2K top wind. The rear doors close with a double cam lock. The trailer comes with a Bulldog 4400 electric winch with remote whip to electronically winch in and out your running on non-running vehicle. Axles are multi-leaf springs. There is also an exterior hose for an outdoor shower. The distance from the removable front interior wall to the ramp door is 17 feet.
The front area has been modified for comfortable stays at the race track, with a fold down platform for a bed and an enclosed area for a toilet facility. There is a fresh water holding tank and grey water tank for the toilet. This area also has shelves and a stereo with internal and external speakers. Flooring and sidewalls are plywood. Exterior and interior lights are LEDS.
