Description

This is a 1995 BMW E36 M3 coupe finished in Avus Blue metallic paint (paint code:276). This M3 is offered for sale privately and it is currently registered in Alberta, Canada with a (Normal) status. This M3 was sold new in Japan and is a “Euro-Spec” model. It was imported to Canada in 2009 from Japan by the first Canadian owner and it has remained registered in Alberta since importation. The seller acquired this M3 approximately a year ago from the first Canadian owner and has added approximately 1000kms under his ownership. With this M3 being greater than 25 years-old, it can be imported to the US and is exempt from EPA and DOT compliance. Formula Auctions can assist in facilitating Transport/Import logistics for a successful buyer across Canada/USA.

Highlights of the factory equipment include a S50B30 engine (which was only offered in the Euro-spec models), Vader sport seats trimmed with “M-Rain” cloth inserts, air conditioning, power windows, pop-out rear windows, Euro-spec glass headlights, M3-specific aerodynamic mirrors and a powered sunroof.

The exterior of the M3 features an M3 specific front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper. The ride-height has been lowered slightly by replacing the factory suspension in favor of KW V3 adjustable coilover system. The seller mentions the original suspension components are included in the sale.

This M3 features 17” BMW Motorsport stamped wheels which are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The tires measure 225/45/ZR17 at all four corners.

The factory exhaust has been replaced in favor of a Super Sprint stainless steel cat-back twin tip muffler system. Unique to the Euro-spec models are two-piece floating brake rotors at all four corners.

The included Carfax shows two incidents occurring in 2010 and 2016, both of which were under a previous ownership. Neither incident have a subsequent insurance claim associated. The seller mentions imperfections including minor rock chips, curb rash on 2/4 wheels and a cracked fog light lens which the seller mentions he will have replaced for the purchaser.

The cabin features "Vader" sport seats trimmed in M-Rain cloth fabric and a dove grey carpet with grey matching dashboard. The dash/center console is two-tone in color with black front paneling offsetting the grey behind. Black leather trims the four-spoke steering wheel, e-brake handle/boot and the the “M” shift knob/boot.

Rowing the 5-speed manual gearbox is a UUC short shifter and the three pedals have had Turner Motorsport aluminum covers added.

The analog cluster features a 280 km/h speedometer to the left of a 8k rpm tachometer on the right.

The audio system has been upgraded by adding an Alpine head unit which is connected to multiple Hertz speakers.

The seller mentions the sale includes a car cover, the original suspension and a battery tender.

Multiple pictures of the undercarriage, wheel wells and suspension are viewable in the gallery below.

Powering the M3 is a 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. The S50B30 engine in this 95’ Euro-spec M3 differs from the US/Canada spec M3’s S52 engine drastically. The S52 engine was factory rated at 240hp/236lb-ft of torque whereas the Euro-spec S50B30 was factory rated at 282hp/235lb-ft of torque. Among various other differences the Euro-spec engine also features individual throttles bodies feeding air into the combustion chambers. This M3’s engine is mostly original with a Eurosport carbon fiber intake being the only modification.
