Description
This 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLI was sold new in in Calgary, Alberta and has remained in the province since. It is finished in Laguna blue over a black cloth interior. Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four mated to a six-speed manual transaxle, and factory features include 18″ BBS wheels, cloth Recaro sport seats, and a Monsoon audio system. The seller recently acquired the car and serviced it with a new battery and an engine oil change.
This Jetta GLI shows just 39k-kms and is now offered with service records, a recent Carfax report, and a clean Alberta registration in the seller’s name. Included with the purchase is some Volkswagen marketing material from the time of purchase, a factory front license plate bracket, three original keys (two fobs, and one valet), the BBS Center cap tool, and service records.
The exterior is Laguna, and features include GLI unique front and rear lip extensions, side skirts, and lipped rear trunk lid. The seller notes that the front lip on the bumper has been refinished to take care of some scuffs and the Carfax report shows a non-accident claim for paintless dent repair to take care of some minor hail damage. The factory 18” BBS alloy wheels are mounted with 225/40 Goodyear eagle tires which the seller notes are due for replacement. The seller notes a small blemish on one wheel, the rear arches behind the rear passenger door have some scratches. A minor dent on the driver's door, and one or two minor rock chips can be pointed out on the hood
The front Recaro sport seats are trimmed in black cloth with matching carpeting and trim. Factory equipment includes cruise control, power windows, and a Monsoon audio system.
The digital odometer shows just 39k-kms, a handful of which have been added by the seller since their recent acquisition. The three spoke leather matched steering wheel fronts a 7500rpm tachometer and a 260kph speedometer.

The turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four produced 180 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 173 lb-ft of torque at 1,950 rpm from the factory. Drive is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, and the seller notes that a new battery was recently installed.
