This is a 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Carrara White paint (paint code #B9A/B4). This Carrera is currently registered in Alberta, Canada and is offered for sale privately. It is powered by a 3.6L flat-six cylinder engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The current owner and seller acquired the Carrera in 2020 and has added approximately 2000 kms to the current 53k-km odometer reading, pictured in the gallery. The seller notes he is the second owner of the vehicle and notes no-known mechanical problems. The seller mentions no-known history of any accidents or claims either. Included in the sale are various service records and the original bill of sale when sold new.
For US bidders, this 911 is importable after a compliance letter from Porsche USA has been obtained. For more information on transport in Canda/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
The exterior of this high performance cabriolet coupe features headlight washers, self-levelling Xenon headlights, and a lined cloth roof stretched over an aluminum and magnesium roof structure, which reduces the top weight of the vehicle, keeps its centre of gravity low, and reduces aerodynamic drag. The top can also be raised or lowered within 20 seconds at speeds up to 50kph. The only exterior modification is said to be the addition of clear side markers from the original amber.
The convertible top is said to operate smoothly without any issues. The rear spoiler is speed activated at 120kph, and retracts below 80kph. The seller notes a paint chip toward the front end of the vehicle and a small crack in the windshield - the latter is pictured in the gallery. The Carrera sits on 19” 15 spoke alloy wheels wrapped in low profile Michelin Pilot sport tires measuring 235/35ZR19 in the front and 295/30ZR19 in the rear. Porsche crested centre caps finish the wheels.
The interior is trimmed in sand beige leather with satin grey accents. The interior features an alloy and leather wrapped shift knob, centre console, dash, and doors, and an interior active charcoal air filter.
The 3-spoke leather wrapped multifunctional steering wheel fronts a digital gauge cluster, with a 330 km/h speedometer to the left and an 8k-rpm tachometer in the centre. The head-unit in the Carrera features PCM (Porsche control management) and navigation. Other equipment includes a Bose 9 speaker surround-sound system, ultrasonic parking assistance, a remote anti-theft alarm system, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and front/side/head airbags. The seats feature Porsche crested headrest’s which is option code: XSC. The Mirrors, seats, windows, and door locks are electronically powered and the mirrors are heated. The curb weight of the cabriolet is 3318 lbs and it measures 175.7 inches long.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-6 engine is rated at 325 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 273 lb-ft of torque at 4600 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The rear-mounted 24-valve engine utilizes variable valve timing and dual-overhead cams. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) offers normal and sport settings. High strength steel bars in the A-pillars and an automatically extending steel beam behind the rear seats provide rollover protection. The seller mentions that the 911 was recently serviced by Porsche last Fall 2021.
