Description
This 2004 BMW M3 convertible is finished in Carbon Black Metallic over gray Nappa leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine paired with a six-speed SMG sequential transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with the Premium Package, 19″ Style 163M wheels, xenon headlights, a black soft top, power-adjustable front sport seats with driver-seat memory settings, a Harman Kardon sound system, a BMW Business CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Originally sold new in Nevada, this US-spec E46 M3 was imported to Canada in 2008 and is now offered with an active and normal Ontario registration status.
For US bidders:
This M3 is directly importable as it is a US-spec example having been sold new in the state of Nevada. For more information on transport in Canada/USA and Import, please visit our Transport/Import page here.
The exterior is finished in Carbon Black Metallic and features a black soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED tail lights, and quad exhaust outlets. The 19″ M cross-spoke Style 163M wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Factory equipment includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and braking is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The seller notes that the original wheels are also included in the sale. The Carfax report lists two incidents: one in 2005 without an associated insurance claim and a glass repair claim in 2022 for $3,636 CAD. The car has been wrapped in PPF (Paint Protection Film) and ceramic coated, ensuring the exterior remains in pristine condition with no cosmetic flaws. The sale includes three sets of OEM BMW rims, the hardtop, and all old suspension and interior parts that were replaced during the car's maintenance.
Inside, the power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in gray Nappa leather, with black cube trim adorning the dash and door panels. Interior features include automatic climate control, cruise control, navigation, and a multi-function leather steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara. The steering wheel fronts a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level.
The digital odometer indicates 64k miles (104k kilometers), with 8,000 kilometers added by the seller during their four years of ownership. In terms of modifications, the only changes made by the seller include wrapping the steering wheel in Alcantara, adding a Bluetooth and rear camera module that integrates with the car’s OEM screen, and using steering wheel buttons, including voice activation for Siri. The CD changer is no longer functional due to these upgrades.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, delivering power to the rear wheels through the six-speed SMG sequential transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car has been meticulously maintained, with a notable “Service Inspection 2” performed, which included valve adjustment and replacement of the motor, transmission, and differential mounts with OEM parts. The suspension was also fully overhauled, with parts purchased from Turner Motorsports, and the rod bearings and VANOS system were addressed. The subframe was inspected and deemed in good condition by Pfaff BMW and RMP Motors in April 2024.
